Lost it all :( - I'm depressed help me out guys

Okay I basically caught a cold about 6 months ago and I didn't think much of it. It gradually escalated and I had to go through 4 cycles of antibiotics in the time span of approx 2 months. I still didn't get better, so I had to stay in the hospital for about a week. I've finally recovered but I've lost EVERYTHING. I'm 25 years old and I've gone through one cycle but I've been trainning seriously for over 7 years. At my heaviest I was at 230lbs, 10% BF at 6'0 (This is at the end of my first cycle, I started at 212lbs after 6 years of trainning naturally). I'm currently at 170lbs at 12% BF . I'm completely depressed what should I do guys? I feel like cycling but I don't know how my body will respond. Is it even possible to gain 40-50lbs of muscle through one cycle? I keep hearing things about muscle memory, what will muscle memory do for me in this situation? I've tried getting back to the gym and getting back to where I was naturally but its just so depressing, I'm SO weak compared to before ;/ Anyone wanna tell me what I should do? What will one cycle do for me? what will muscle memory do? I've basically lost over 60lbs of pure muscle, because my BF atm is higher than it was at my heaviest :/, what should I do guys? ><

25 is still young. Just start eating and hitting the gym. I would not do a cycle for awhile if you were so sick. Let your body heal.

i had a serious car accident a few years back, i was 15.6st at the time and by the time i was back on my feet i weighted 9.5st, 4mths later i was 15st. big proof in muscle memory. ps, i was all natural back then. start off slowly, you will recover and get it all back

your worrying too much and dont understand life... this happens.. loosing weight is no biggie... i have missed up to 6months w/ o training due to personal/occupational reasons.. missed 3-4monts here and there from broken bones.. but in the end.. because i have always been consistent and dedicated in training and diet.. and muscle memory is your friend.. if you had a solid base and were truly dedicated you have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT it will come back readily

I'm completely fine. It all took about 4 months, but I've just been chilling out for the last 2 months. I always had some joint pain, especially in the wrist and lower back, kinda chillin and letting everything heal. A little bit weight trainning here and there, but its just impossible man, I remember DLing 4 plates for reps and I can barely get 2 plates up atm . I'm just trying to reduce my BF to about 8-10% BF with some cardio, some healthy eating. Even though I'm completely fine, I don't want to cycle just yet, I'm gonna give it another month or so. I'm just curious though, with the combination of perfect diet + trainning + rest + cycle + muscle memory will I be able to gain 30-40lbs of clean weight, when I do decide to cycle? or am I just starting from scratch again :/?

I had a 6 year lay off from lifting. It took me about 3-4 month with no cycle to get back to where I was. Muscle memory is for real IMO.

You can get it back quick. The hardest part of starting back up again is that first week. Get that behind you and its all downhill from there. You will start making gains faster than ever since you havent been hitting it much.

Can you provide any more information about this 'cold'? If you were on antibiotics I assume it was some kind of bacterial infection? Did you ever find out what it was?

Yeah, I had a girlfriend for two years who love to eat taco bell and pizza and watch TV and hump. I never went to the gym for a year and then when we split I gained everything back in a few months. Your muscles remember. No stress homey.

I think it will come back fast without juice thats what I would do at least see how much you body will respond natty first then hit the juice later on. Plus your tendons and what not will also have a chance to get stronger.

Don't give us info about the cold. No one cares except for nurse make-love. Just eat a truckload of food and work out all the time and you'll be right back slangin the weights and ladies where you were.

Stand above weakness.. consume communities of clean food, put your favorite music in your ears, and slowly get back in there and within 3-4 weeks you'll be at full stride again feeling like a million bucks. Lift carefully brutha and lift only what you can lift.. don't get impatient.. you'll get there. Kick some arse and good luck..

    Peace,

    Igi

I went through the same shit and let me tell you it does in fact come back fast.... In January of this year I started lifting again after being off for 5 months and I'm the strongest I've ever been, muscle memory is for real.

I had a surgery where I was bed ridden for a while and lost about 20 pounds. The next cycle was my most productive as your body will QUICKLY pick up where you used to be, and then starting building at a more moderate rate from there (in my experience).

Don't worry about it just make sure youre healthy enough to start again and then hit the gym, then grocery store, and then 9 hours sleep/daily.

Just think of it as an extended deload period

Stay natural and hit the weights again, sure your max's won't be as high, but keep it close to your regular rep amount to failure and muscle memory will do the rest

I was off for 15 years due to multiple complications, Hepatitis B being the main one they kept me down. 2 back surgeries and life in general.

It took me about 6 months to get close to where I was, in a year I had surpassed and now 2 years later I'm far surpassed but I still wish I was 25 and starting out again instead of 45 (47 now).
