I read the thread on difference between infection and injection pain but it didn't help me out that much.
I did an injection of prop 150mg/ml 3 days ago in my right glute. When pushing the needle in I'm fairly sure I hit a nerve, my leg jutted pretty good. I should of pulled it out but kept going in.
I then injected slowly, and went on with the rest of the injection routine.
The past two days my glute has been a bit swollen and pretty sore. Today after I got off work from walking around all day the area began to become red, and the skin didn't feel tight, but a bit loose. The area is also a bit warm to the touch.
Liek something was under it.
I drew a ring around it and I will be keeping an eye on it over the weekend. I just wanted to know if this could be swelling and pain from going through a nerve or blood vessel, or if it's an infection?
btw this was my 7th overall injection 2nd one to my right glute so muscle is still pretty new to the gear.
