    Depressed when off cycle?

one off my good mates at the gym gets so down when not on cycle as he dont look as full or pumped! And if someone says to him "hey you seem to have lost a little weight, your looking smaller" he goes apeshit.

He is constantly " cant wait till next month" (when his next cycle is)

I have not done my first cycle yet so dont know but is this how some of you guys feel? He seems tortured at times!

Most of us are mature and level headed and don't base our self-worth on how muscular we may look at any given time. Hopefully you'll be the same way.

Iv'e never cycled either but i see that a lot of the time here. The people on the board that i talk to are usually biting at the bit to be on their next cycle. I don't know whether or not i would say are depressed, maybe just more enthusiastic when on cycle

I think the reason is that u feel like a God espacially when test is flowing in ur body. when u r not on the feeling is gone I am one of the lucky ones who will stay on test as long as I live ....... hey my endocrinologist told me......

it could be the pct meds hes taking... 20mg nolvadex a day made me pretty depressed.

low test levels could certainly be a contributing factor to depression. MD, is you friend doing proper pct and does he train consitantly when off cycle?

His body isnt recovering very well, Im in the same boat. He may need to look in to hrt. Im got very depressed and tired with no libido after my last cycle. I felt so shitty that I jumped back on sooner than I should of.

Its not totally about how he looks, he is depressed ,and when people say hes gotten smaller it just adds to his depression for obvious reasons. Thats why we do this, to look better than the average man and when youve worked very hard and done damage to your body from aas use and have lost the muscle after the cycle its a very shitty feeling. I think he should look into hrt. You live once.

I beleive this is a major contributing fact to aas.
When I came off my cycle, mind you I have only done 1 cycle. I blew up
quite large, with complete definition of most muscles, over time, i started losing my water
retention, my muscle's definition and just my overall size.

Than it hit me everyone that seen my results, had now witness aas at it's best
they started giving me shit, cause they knew deep down I was on it.

Remarks of like "You've lost your V mate" - "Where's all your size gone mate?"
"Why arn't you lifting as heavy as before, u were an animal"

This really played on my mind for sometime. At the end of the day it did make me
realise all good things must come to and end.

I don't really get depressed, but I will say I much more enjoy being on cycle.

I mean who doesn't prefer feeling like a god rather than a regular human being?

What kind of douchebags do you guys hangout with? (i.e. "woah, you got smaller!") Honestly, who the hell points that kind of stuff out in the gym?

Alot of guys in Australia dont have access and or the knowledge regarding pct meds/protocols etc... I see guys all the time blowing up, then 3 months later shrinking... With the physical change also comes the change in demeanor. From walking round like superman, to kicking stones... It is sad to see... For me personally I wont touch any more gear unless I know I have all pct meds etc on hand. I would rather a slow progressing natural gain rather than a yo yo effect with big courses, followed by poor discipline and pct. I can certainly see how mental health issues can arise from this rollercoaster effect of constantly fluctuating hormones...

Yeah i agree with ya there to mate, our access to PCT is poor.

IMO our mental health system is flooded with drug addictions (drug psychosis) not many aas cases here for mental health issues.

But you have never said so true words mate. Switched on
