    Advise needed...first time user...

    I am 39 years old and have been lifting for the last 23 years. I am a small guy. 5'8" and about 160 pounds. My bench has never been higher then 275 and yes I do squats every week..295 is about as high as I go.

    So I started a cycle about 12 weeks ago. Started with test proprionate and enanthate I believe it was labeled Sustanon 300?? Threw the bottle away so I forgot exactly what they said. I got them from an under ground lab, great stuff. After about 3 weeks of 3 x's per week injections I gained 15 pounds and my bench press increased to 350. Also my sex drive was thru the roof. After about week 6/7 I hit a peak and wasnt getting stronger and my sex drive was none.

    Called my guy and he recommended I add Masteron to my injections of test to correct the sex drive problem and increase my dose and frequency of test to every other day. I also started a new test called tri-test.

    Well I have now been on gear for nearly 17 weeks straight and have had no more gains in strength or weight and I am not getting the build I expected at all. I got bigger and stronger, but I also got heavier looking. Not what I wanted. I wanted to be big and cut to some degree.

    So I am thinking I must need a break from gear all together and then start back up. I have nolvadex and clomid for PCT but I am not sure that I need to take them if i only plan on taking a few weeks off. I also have aquired some HGH thinktropin. i am hoping that will get me the cuts i am looking for.

    My diet is great, boiled chicked, tuna, eggs, protein shakes and lots of veggies.

    Any advise is greatly appreciated..I have read and read and read info all over the net and my supplier has given advise but I want to hear from guys on hea that know what I should do without having a financial interest in what i do.

    Should I pct?
    Should I just take a few weeks off and start back up?
    Should i take growth with test?

    Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks my brother lifters.....

    Whoa... I havent heard of anyone doing 17 week course. Seems a bit long. (for a first course esp.)

    1st Id probably wait 2 WEEKS WITH NO GEAR (so on week 20) - and then start a PCT. That's what I was advised to do. Since youve been going so long, not too sure on the PCT you should be doing. Someone else may be able to help you here - otherwise check out the PCT forum section and try posting there.

    Im guessing youve changed your workout if youre no longer seeing gains? You'll lose some of the bigness once youre off the gear - it'd be water retention. Just keep eating big and training big (with a new training schedule) and watch those protein shakes. I hear they can be fatty.

    Imo you should post your diet in the diet forum bro because for a person to have trained for 23 years and still be 160lbs, would indicate theres something lacking in their diet...

    Thanks or the responses. That is my problem, there is so much info on the web and all of it is different. My supplier of course wants me to stay on cycle or ever as he says he has for 7 years. I do not think that is a good idea. I think your body becomes adjusted to what your taking and the amount your injecting, so to see any gains you must stop and pct or increase doses to what I feel would be unsafe levels.

    My weight is not 160 currently. It is 179lbs. I am a small framed guy, always have been.

    I just needed some advise on cycling gear and incorporating the proper pct.

    Any more info is appreciated.

    I 2nd this. Reading your brief diet description, it looks like a cutting diet. You will not gain unless in a calorie surplus. Also, when you're on, you most likely are holding water. In fact, depending on your diet, most could be water. You will lose the water after going off AAS and your appearance will tighten up. While on, you have to accept the "look" and realize that it's temporary.

    At 39 you're going to have a harder time recovering then younger guys. 17 weeks was a long time being on. Im 47 and no longer even try to recover. I cruise on a TRT dose between cycles. Research in the PCT forums. Can you get HCG ?

    I wouldn't bother cycling again until you get your diet squared away. You're risking your health for very few gains until you do.

    your supplier obviously isnt a friend.. it's called a steroid cycle for a reason.. you have to cycle it.. it's usually 10-12 weeks on then pct, then 10 weeks off... even how impossible it seems, dorian yates ran a 30 week cycle... so if your supplier says hes been on a 7 year cycle then hes lying to you. your body will just die and once you stop taking them you will need to see a doctor every month for testosterone therapy ... its such a shame what you ppl do to yourselves.. you just start shoooting shit into yourself with no reserach or knowledge...
