    1st cycle; Test Prop

    First off, glad to be apart of the forum. I have paid many visits to this forum of the years but never joined. I have finally bit the bullet and decided to run Test Prop as my first cycle. I Know that a lot of you Vets recommend running enan or cyp for your first time because of the longer ester(fewer injections). I am not worried to much about that. The problem is I think that I have read too much info(conflicting). My diet is there, I have been training since I 17 (now 29), confident about quality of my gear too.

    I have read that some think you should run nolva starting 2 weeks into cycle and continue all the way through. I do not want to run anything else with the Test for the first time. With this considered, how would you(vets) run this cycle.

    My stats;
    6'00"
    235lbs
    18% BF

    Goal;
    250+lbs
    7-12% BF

    Thinking of 2 cycles(test prop); 400-500mg/wk
    3rd cycle with anavar to cut.

    I am looking for advice on;
    time of day to inject (i have chosen EOD),
    if nolva will be enough for 1st timer to prevent rising estrogen level and possible gyno,
    and if nolva is also sufficient for PCT(i have read that nolva is better than clomid)

    I hope that I am not getting on anyones nerves(for posting noob ?s).

    Thanks
    Slciwill

    better to use an AI drug for your anti-estrogen, rather than the nolva, save tne nolva for pct

    you shud lower your bf%, u will experience possibly higher side effects.

    ED or EOD shud be fine, imo ED is better.
    Yes nolva @ 10mg ED shud control gyno during cycle.
    There a stickys for PCT protocols you should read them.

    Stevey,

    I have struggled to lower my BF% for years I have never been able to get lower that 16%. That was even why playing ball. With my BF% almost at 20%, what sides should i worry the most about?

    I know a lot of friends who had gyno sides with higher BF.

    I would use arimidex ON cycle for estrogen control. I always pin first thing in the morning. I run prop @ 150mg EOD. This averages out to be like 525mg / week!

    I was mid 20s for BF% when I started. I was hydrostatic tested 2 weeks ago at 19.2% but Ive gained 5lbs since the start of my cycle

    Im doing only test E 500mg/wk

    Id say my diet is pretty damn good though, but this test has defintely been burning fat off me. My waist has dropped 4" since starting the cycle

    I know it's hard for some but you really need to focus on diet and cardio, it will only benefit you in the long run.

    Sides such as gyno, high BP, bad lipid levels all increase with cycling with a high bf%.

    Not trying to be negative but not being able to drop BF is just an excuse. I struggle with that same issue but have been successful bringing it down and should be in the single digits within 1 to 2 months after about 5 months of hard, extremely hard work. You have to work hard an really focus on your diet. AAS is not the answer.

    My 2 cents.
