Steroids in drugs policy's

I'm currently working for a big contractor who are building a power station near where i live and everyone gets drug tested from time to time, so im wondering what would they're policy be like on drugs. My mate said they test for steroids but can they sack you for taking as the laws in the UK are you can legally take steroids but not supply.

I really dont think they test for aas bro, like you said, its legal to use aas in the UK and the cost of testing people for aas would be far to expensive...

I would be 99.99999% sure they dont check for steroids, it will be a 5 or 8 panel test for rec drugs, benzos etc which are mind altering.

Even the 10 panels don't have it. It's a test they use specifically to test steriods, seperate from the rest of the drug tests. They usually only test for steriods in situations where they know people will use it like sports, body building contests, etc. I wouldn't worry about it.

I wouldnt worry about it i've been drug tested on various occasions working for different companies and never had a problem.

They will more then likely be just testing for rec drugs, the cost would be higher to test for steroids like the guys say, and why would they want their workers to be small and weak

Thats the thing im confused about, fair enough with rec drugs like cocaine and cannabis but with steroids it actually makes you able to do more, my friend said there was a list that had steroids on it so why would they test for steroids. the woman asked him if he was taking steroids aswell so hmmm.

yeah most places only test for rec drugs, steroid tests are very expensive from what ive been told
