    anavar as first cycle

Ok, before i go and say anything I'll explain that i have read all the info on a proper first cycle, and how everyone recommends test only, and the various reasons for doing so.

The thing I've been curious about though, is with so many people under 21/25/whatever ignoring the forums advice on being too young, why isn't a steroid that is milder on the htpa and less prone to side effects recommended? Wouldn't a 6-7 week anavar cycle with a proper pct still yield decent results with less potential side effects, or am i missing something?

Sorry if this question has been asked before, I've been lurking the forums for a couple weeks and haven't seen any answers on it

Edit: I guess i should have made it clearer that I don't mean anavar being used as a first cycle in general, but just for those who are too young but refuse to wait.

steroids arent recommended to those age groups because the body is still naturally producing test in good amount, and if you introduce an out side source it could be damaging long term in a variety of ways.* as stated in the stickies at the top of the forum* utilize your body's maximum potential then when the dieting and exercising, for cutting or bulking, has hit a wall thats when aas should be used.

I would think it is mainly because it's possibly the most expensive one out there. It depends on who you know of course. You can cut with it and gain some strength, but you don't get a lot of muscle gain with it. As for safety, well the drug was designed for women and kids with diseases where body mass is an issue. It's pretty gentle.

The reason test is the best first cycle, is because you'll gain more muscle and get over your issue with needles at the same time. Or at least test vs var anyway.

But regardless of that, you really should have a good natural base before you take anything. Something tells me that's the point you're at right now. Maybe you should revisit this later, and try to get the most you can out of natural gains for now.

I really think 25 with a good natural base is the right time to start. I could even see a little younger if you are already pretty big and been at it since you were kid.

How about this, I'll tell you how to get a nice testosterone rush. This works for anyone, but even better when you're young. Do a big stressful lift like a squat or a deadlift in every workout. That will give you a nice rush of testosterone. That's a pretty effective technique.

    "I'm 19 years old, 6' 2" and 175 pounds (~9%bf)"

Aha, I was right! How did I know? lol

Use the big lifts, spike insulin post workout and eat a lot.

Like I said at the start, I've read all the stickies and such about why to use testosterone only as a first cycle, though admittedly i didn't take use of needles into consideration (thanks for pointing that out). My question truly is just one for theory, i personally intend to wait until at least 21 (I know a lot of people say 25), but it seems there are half a dozen topics a day about people around my age who refuse to listen to the vet's advice about being too young and lacking a good base to work with. I was simply curious as to why anavar was never recommended over testosterone for people who are too young to be using them, but do anyways.

I guess because to an extent it would be condoning their use?

I want to get this squared up as well, I figure it's something I'm going to be encountering a lot:

1)I recognize that I am too young for AAS and
2)I am still too light and inexperienced for their use
3)I am still making solid gains, and I am still improving my diet and routine
4)For the time being, I am happy to be making natural gains in size and strength, and am honestly here so that a few years down the road I'll know exactly what I'm doing (better be have 4 years of lifting and 3 years of research under your belt than to jump on it as soon as I'm considered old enough)

There ya go, that's better. It's never too early to start learning.
