Sust Amp - Help

Hi Guys

Today I opened my first Sust 250 amp which actually went far better than I thought. I used a curated knife on the amp, used a tissue over my hand and pushed on the black dot. And I also let the amp sit in warm water for 3 mins prior to opening it.

My problem came with drawing the oil. With vials its pretty easy, you just turn it upside down and slowly draw back, push the air out and repeat.

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to draw the amp properly? I cant turn the amp upside down and use gravity and it takes quite a few pumps and unfortunately when i pump the air out, several drops follow. I lost perhaps 10%?

How exactly did you lose 10 % of your sust? Was this when you were getting the air bubbles out of the syringe? If so once you get all the sust out of the amp turn the syringe upside down (needle up), then draw in about 1/2 cc of air and flick the syringe untill the air bubbles come out. After that leave the syringe needle sticking strainght up and use the plunger to push out the excess air. You should lose next to nothing and it is ready for inj. hope that helped

Mate, once you pop the neck, remove the piston out of the syringe, then hold the syringe upside down (connect the needle tip first), then connect the edge of the vial to inside layer of the syringe and let it fill up. Once the vial is empty, attach the piston but don't push in, turn the syringe upward (needle tip up), then push the piston in. This is how I do it and save 100%. Cheers

Cobra - Yes, that is how I lost it. I dont suck up all the sust in one pull. Hence I need to pump the air out (around 3 or 4 times) and thats where Im losing some sust.
What guage are you using? I was using a 23g pin. Im now thinking of getting some diff pins, perhaps an 18g?

Syd - Are you saying just pour the sust into the Barrel, and then pump the air out? The more I think about it, the more Im liking this idea.
