Does this mean LIVER damage??
I was looking through my blood test and saw that my SGOT is 103 when the normal range is 8.5-10.5
I looked around google for what SGOT meant, and its supposed to be an indication of liver damage. It freaked me out since all these hepetitis websites came up!!
Anyways, Does anyone know what that SGOT finding would mean?

Nope, I'm about 8 weeks off my cycle. I went into the clinic and had the blood tests done during an appointment. I just thought I'd pickup my printouts since I got the testosterone one back too. The only adnormal readings were test and sgot. I need to figure out what I can do, if I can do anything to help. Maybe supps that help the liver?

I would PM DickRenegade I think he knows a good amount about that type of stuff. Sorry if he doesn't! But I can remember him posting a bunch of stuff about that type of stuff a little while back.

Ramp, what was your cycle?
Anyhoo, I would immediately get on 3000iu's of Vitamin E
1500mg of ALA
You also want to look into N-acetyl cysteine which is a source of the amino acid cycteine which the body uses to make the antioxidant gutathione.
It's commonly used in HIV patients but I think the benefits may help in your ailment. Check it out first though for any possible down sides.

I'll start the vitamin e and ala today.
FUCK. If anyone else has some advice or insight, please don't be shy!

I didnt know test or deca was harsh on the liver. I know people say that just heavy lifting alone can raise you liver values

I think you should go back to the doctor bro, your liver problem does not necessarily have to be limited to steroids .
Alot of people around here have been walking around with mono for weeks at a time and not knowing they have it. This can cause an increase.
Taking to much tylenol, or pain pills can cause increase as well. My values were slightly raised a couple of weeks ago due to muscle relaxers.
Either way, get some professional advice, I mean we're talking about a vital organ here.

No offense to anyone who has given advice, but the best thing you can do is go back to the doctor bro. Why chance it?
