How much does getting your test checked cost?

I've been searching for that answer, but most of what I found is more about results than cost. And what I do find ranged from $30-900! I would like to go to the Dr. and get my test checked just to see where I'm at. I'd love to pay $30, but if I were billed $900, my wife would shoot me before I got the results.

I've looked at the board rules and if I'm breaking them please let me know. I'm only looking for the cost of the bloodwork, preformed legally by the Dr.

Bull Shit your doctor. Tell him some story how your friend has low test and is on testosterone therapy. Tell, him you have the same symptoms and would like it check.

I found a lab testing site Privatemdlabs.com its $50, and you can put in your zip code to find a location near you that collects the blood. I have not used them, but I am going to look into it some more.

That is an interesting idea. I have a location very close by. I wonder if the DR. would accept these? At least the website gives me a better idea of prices. Thanks.

Privatemdlabs is a good place, I use it frequently. You should be able to get a coupon on the site to get an extra 15% off their published price.

I have to meet my deductible before insurance covers anything outside of Dr. visits and meds. I've not spent a time towards it yet.
