Good Size but gut is getting bigger??

I'm currently doing 800 mg of Test Cyp per week for a short 8 week cycle. About to hit week 6 and weight gain has been good. I've gone from 195 to about 212 so far. My clothes are definitely getting snug. I'm eating 6 meals per day plus the occasional junk foods. Should I be hitting the cardio a little more often or maybe backing off some of the calories to avoid the fat??? I don't know if I'm getting too over concerned about the gut. Is this part of the game plan???

Are you getting fat or do you have a distended abdomen? When Im bulking my gut protrudes but you can still see my abs. Dieting, this goes away. If you're gaining too much fat, reduce calories a bit. You may also be holding some water.

You could be gaining some fat or your bloated. Are you using an AI?

At six weeks the cyp prob kicked In two weeks ago. I'm willing to guess your junk food and diet is causing you to gain more fat then you think. The mass you gained so far probably isn't mostly muscle.

You might have stretched out the fascia in your stomach seeing you are age 42. At 44 years of age I speak from experience.

It's tied to how much food you eat not age. If you're big and eating a large amount of food to maintain or grow, you can get a distended abdomen. I don't see it as much in the smaller guys, but then again, they're aren't eating mass quantities of food at their size.

I'm 40 years old as well...I talked to my Dr. about the bloated feeling so he prescribed me some lasix. I'm taking the pill in the morning and cant really say that I've noticed a difference. I really feel the bloat by afternoon and sometimes have trouble breathing. I'm considering taking the pill later in the day to see if it makes a difference. I think you guys are right...my diet isn't clean enough.

A diuretic isn't a great idea for bloat caused by a AAS cycle. Lasix is the sledge hammer of diuretics. Bloat comes from water retention. The water retention is from an excess of estrogen caused by testosterone converting (aromatase) into estrogen. If you take an AI (aromatase inhibitor), it will stop the conversion lowering your estrogen and giving some relief of the bloat.

you've gained 17lbs in 8 weeks, there will be some fat in there and since you are eating junk food I'm going to guess maybe a little too much fat.

You could also be stretching your stomach outwards with all the food you are eating, I get this when bulking. Almost like a small pregnant belly that protrudes out with no soft fat tissue on it. It's just the stomach bloating up and stretching out so it can hold all the food a bit like when you have to loosen your belt a notch when you've over done it at the all you can eat buffet.

I think you're likely to have a combination of the two, try cutting out the junk food. The bloated stomach will go away when you're done bulking and not shovelling huge amounts off food down.

Also start taking an AI to combat the bloat and other side effects if you are not already doing so.

When you're on a cycle and eating as many calories as you should be, getting a little paunchy is merely part of the game. Even in the Original UG Steroid Handbook, Dan Duchaine came right out and said that you will get a little fat while using AAS.

If you feel as if you're getting too thick in the middle, cut out the junk food and add a little cardio. You have to eat big to get big, so don't sweat it too much.

I hate threads/post that dont give any type of conclusion.

So what happened? What was/is the problem?

Are you still getting an extended belly?

Im 48. Mine was due to diet. i went from a 36 to a 30 in less than a year. Eat cleaner.
