    Long cycles vs Short cycles

    I would like to get some experienced opinions if Could. About whether its better to do a short cycle of say 6 weeks since you will be shut down for less time or maybe not shut down at all just suppressed and you should be able to restore hpta function rather quickly and retain gains. Or is it better to run a longer cycle of 12 weeks and allow the body more time to adjust to the new weight? Now I know diet and workout will also determine what you keep from cycle but i'm only asking about which is better for retaining the most gains a short or longer cycle.

    i think a lot of it depends on what compounds you are running and the ether, if for instance you are running deca i dont think 6 weeks would be enough for it to fully kick in.....

    it all depends on the individual and the pct, if u can recover quik and get ur test bak up u will drop the water and keep the weight but gotta work and eat at ur best to maintain it.
    also depends on how far u have went naturally without gear
    are u 200pounds and 8 body fat? gain 20pounds on a cycle it will be easy to maintain
    vs
    160 pounds 13 body fat and gain 20 pounds theres gonna be a strugle.

    i personaly favour a 10week cycle, but i will go gor a long cycle this year over the 20weeks to give it a trybut iv got alot to do b4 i can do that.

    and i belive that if ur going to shut ur self that just make the most of it and yes 6 weeks of test at 300mg a week which is low will shut u down and does not matter if its a 6 or a 12 week it depends on YOU how quik can ur boody boost back up

    yeh i wouldnt do any cycle less than 8 weeks but alot of people do a test prop 6 weeks

    Well I guess im in between both,I'm 6'0 190lbs and 13%bf.And for gear choices i was thinking something like a 6-8 tbol cycle or a 10-12 week test e cycle w/dbol kicker.
