What's the big deal with Deca?

    Hey,

On my first cycle - sust 500 mg EW, 10-weeks - and I was wondering why a deca & test cycle is considered only for the intermediate/advanced pinner. Besides never using deca by itself, what's the big deal?

    Thanks.

    Ken

There is no big deal. Except you never did steriods before and you dont know how your body will react. If you have problems is it from the test or the deca?

also since this is your first cycle why do you feel you need more aas then just test. Are you that advanced naturally that you wont grow on a test only cycle? I doubt it. More isnt always better. Why take more drugs and spend more money then you have to?

Good point and EXACTLY why I started with just the sust versus sustanon & deca or even sustanon & dbol, etc.

Can't help planning for the future, doing my research and taking it to the next level. It seems most people don't start with the deca until 3 or 4 successful test only and maybe some dbol cycles. How many cycles of test only did you complete until you felt you hit another barrier or the need to step it up?

Deca is a good drug that lost a lot of it's 'sexiness' over the years. It gets a bad rap but is great when stacked with test. But you should definitely heed the warnings here to start off with only test. No reason to jump into the deeper end of the pool now.
