1 inch needle

Hey guys. I went by the pharmacy the other day and all I could get was 1 inch 20 g pins. I already took 1 shot in the ass and I'm kinda worried if I'm going deep enough. Does anybody have any advice?

I asked the same question a few weeks ago. I'm using a 1" 25 pin and was also worried about that. I usually inject in the outer upper thigh muscle because I have to do it myself but I have tried the glute as well. I was told that a 1.5 is better for the glute but a 1" will work. If you want to change to a different size do a search on the net and you'll be able to find any size you want very cheap.

How dull are you 20 G needle man ? I can barley get my into the vial. Couldn't image sticking myself with one of those.


Head to a different pharmacy and pick up some 22 or 23 G 1 1/2 for your glutes and some 25 G 1 inch for your quads.

You're fine. If it isn't all the way intramuscular it'll just take a little while longer to absorb. Do delts if you have 1 inch.

If you're not too high of BF you will be fine. All I use is 1" for all injects.

20G!?!?!?! dude, go steal some McDonalds straws, they're smaller and would hurt less. I use a 21g to draw and 25g to inject. 1" is great for delts and quads, but if you are not as lean as CGB then I would suggest at least a 1.25 into the glutes.

You need 1.5" for glutes. 20g is too big of a pin...try 22-23g for more comfort.

1" 25g is the best all-around if you're lean and have nice, thin gear.

It has nothing to do with length, that's what the digit is following any discussion of gauge. eg: 23g 1", or 23g 1.5"

How deep you need it to go determines the length in inches.
How fast you need to inject vs ease of penetration determines gauge (or molecular weight of gear/oil vs water).

Best off to stick with 1.25" and up,
But I've gotten by on some 1 inch pins before.
Call it luck but I even had to do a few glute pins with them and no huge problems. Luck maybe.

I used a 16-gauge needle..On my girlfriend's HORSE. I believe 20 is about as big as human beings go. I've heard of them referred to as "Cannons"

Yeah the 20 g is a little big but it doesn't bother me too bad. I was just hoping 1 inch was long enough to get started. I ordered some 23g 1.5 pins that should be here soon I was just being a little impatient and wanted to start my cycle asap.

You can find the size you need, just check a few pharmacies. I go with 23 1.5 in, you don't have to push it all the way in if using it in quad or delt. Its also good to not bury it just incase you break it off, you will have something to grab onto to get it out. On a side note, I know guys that would get the old sus 250 redi jects from mexico that were set up with 16 ga needles, and use them without switching out the needle. They always complained about the pain, and bleeding, but wouldn't spend a couple bucks to buy a box of the proper size needles.

20 gauge is pretty big... have seen someone use an 18 though. Fukin crazy
