Gear shipped to the US from other countries

Have any of you guys had any problems having gear shipped to your house by registered International Airmail from other countries ?

There are many guys who have probelms with customs, its a risk your going to have to way up and consider.

I had gear shipped to my business from China. It got seized by US customs. Customs cancelled my import bonding. Customs had DHL and UPS cancel my account. I had gear sent to my house labeled "Michael Jackson or current resident". It was seized. Nothing happened. Maybe I was lucky but getting jacked by US customs was not a happy experience.

I've had a fair bit of stuff (electronics etc) delivered from China. I'd say one in twenty packages were opened by customs.

do they also open regular mail comming in or randomly scan it??

ive ordered gear 3 times from thailand and recieved it every time

Without going into to much detail it really all depends on your source. China is really a crap shoot but if its packaged properly odds are it will get through. I know of a few sources that claim 100% success on deliveries but they have very ********** ways of doing it. You just have to do heavy research on your source before making up your mind.

Had 3 packages shipped from Greece.....no problems. Both orals and vials. They wrapped the gear in some sort of foil. I'm guessing to throw off the x-rays?

i would think the foil would set off some sort of detection by itself.
