    Question Liver Toxicity...

A question... Why is it that whenever someone states that they are doing an oral only cycle, a load of people jump on them and say that they're going to destroy their liver etc etc, and then in the next breath suggest that they should instead do a Test cycle with D-bol to kick it off? Surely that would be at least as liver toxic as d-bol on it's own. I'm not suggesting that a d-bol cycle (or any oral) on it's own is a smart move, just trying to understand the reasoning? Cheers! :-)

because orals are methylated to enable them 2 passes through the liver thus causing liver stress

Dbol as a kickstart is one thing, but a lot of the oral-only cycles one will see proposed are borderline ridiculous. These are generally not people with realistic expectations looking to stack a moderate dose of tbol and var for a while, but instead ideas of months and months spent on high doses of orals; even stacking some of the more toxic ones up together. The folks looking to do 6 weeks of dbol (or god knows what else) are usually advised to simply use that dbol to kick off a nice test cycle so they get the most out of their first foray into AAS

Ahh - that makes more sense! So am I right in thinking that even pinned AAS are toxic to the liver, but LESS toxic than orals?

Pinned AAS can be liver toxic and yes, generally less so than orals (keep in mind that orals can be prepared for injection-- winny is commonly seen, but really pretty much anything can be done).

Gotcha. So are supplements like liv52 and milk thistle advisable for pinned cycles? :-)

Its never a bad idea to use liver supplements regardless, if nothing else other than overall liver health. IMO, liver supps are not neccessary for an injection cycle, but again, its not a bad idea to go ahead and take them.

By the way, I never recommend using Dbol on a first cycle, personally, I think Test for a beginner is suffecient.

Yeah - I (like most newbies) tried a dbol only cycle and experienced fantastic gains, no sides, and then lost it all when I came off - lol!! I guess everyone has to learn the hard way! The only oral cycle I would run now would be t-bol which works brilliantly for me. :-)

What is more toxic? 2-3 beers a day for 4-5 weeks straight or doing an oral cycle of say dbol for example for 4-5 weeks?

This is a VERY good question!! I once saw a post that said that a tab of dbol was the equivalent of a shot of spirits; but I have no idea how they came to that conclusion - lol!! Anyone? :-)
