Thread: Workout Frequency

    Workout Frequency

I have been training and had orginally planned on running my first cycle of test e in October. However, my work schedule has become so erratic that I am only able to get into the gym 4 days a week. It dosen't look like this is going to change anytime soon. So my question is. Is 4 days enough to make running a cycle worthwhile or should I just wait untill I can lift more often?

4 days a week is plenty. Personally more can be a waste (you grow out of the gym, not in it).
Not sure how great youre training schedule is etc, but over 4 days can be killing it (unless youre throwing in a day or two of cardio, then you can easily go 7)

I actually hit a great growth spurt going to 5 days, one group a day.

I try to mix powerlifting style lifts and body building lifts. For each muscle group I use heavy compound bar lifts with no more than 8 reps. Then do 2 or 3 isolation exercises for each using 12-15 reps. I change up exercises about every 6 weeks.

    Legs/Shoulders
    Abs/Some form of cardio

Guess the reason I asked if running a cycle and working out for only 4 days is worth while is because I know the recovery time on cycle is much faster. Don't wanna waste all the money I would spend on gear and food.
