Steroids for sports other than Body Building?

Im just curious to know who on here has use aas for sports other than bodybuiling? what sport were you doing, what steroids did u take, and what kind of results were u looking for and did u achieve.

Myself, im a mixed martial artist and the reasons i am gonna do steroids seems to be much different then most of the people on here. so when i here people say that if you 5' 7" 180lbs and thats to small to even start steroids, you should get your diet in check first, it makes me realize that even thought there is a lot of really good info on here, most of it doesnt really pertain to me.

Im 5' 6" 155 lbs. (after adding 10lbs of muscle on my last (1st) cylce) and am not looking to put on more weight, maybe add some muscle and loose some fat, but my main goals are strength, muscle endurance, speed, and the ability to train 3 times a day without being so sore that I can't get up in the morning and to be able to do that 6 days a week.

so even if u are a bodybuilder but have some ideas on what would be a good cycle for other sports id love to hear your input as well
    Thanks..

Generally, steroids aren't sport specific...training is. I play rugby and use test/deca cycles to bring up my strength in the off season in preparation for the next. Works well for me. You need to get the timing right, though. If you're an MMA fighter you don't have a season. You also have to consider what you need for what you do. Being a fighter, being big and strong won't necessarily help you, as there will always be someone bigger and stronger.

I'd say for something like MMA, the milder options would be better. Less is more. You also need to take a good look at your diet.

    How old are you?

I think Test stacked with a good cutting agent, When Arod tested positive it was for test and Primo.

I'm an MMA trainer. I'm 50 and have been around martial arts and MMA athletes for a long time. From my research, I wouldn't recommend a straight Test cycle for my MMA athletes. MMA requires totally explosive movements which are very stressful on the joints. Test cycles tend to dry out the soft joint tissues. My fear is that a MMA athlete gets really strong on cycle and blows out a shoulder of knee during an intensive exchange. I recommend Anavar + 200mg/wk test, Deca + 200mg/wk test, or Eq + 200mg/wk test. My theory is to supply anabolic agent to the muscles as well as build collagen in the joints. I welcome comments on my cycle theory for MMA athletes.

interesting, those doses are very low by most standards in bodybuilding. have you personally used cycles with doses like that? if so, for how long?

I agree with you up until the end of your post. I think both Deca and EQ would be a bad idea for most MMA athletes as they stick around in the system for so long (testing positive for 18 months isn't such a good thing if you're competing at all). I would assume the Deca and EQ would be included for the joints, so maybe NPP would be a better choice, but NPP is still detectable for a year.

IMHO, low dose Test, Anavar, maybe T-Bol and Primo are the best choices for an MMA fighter.

If you're not being tested, then Deca or EQ would be okay, but watch out for too much weight gain.

what type of test. do u think would work best? at the moment im still amature so i dont get drug tested. i used eq and test e. last time, worked well but my doses were 600 mg/week for both i think too high next time ill do much lower test dose and im thinking about trying npp or 1-test cyp., what do u think?
