Ephedrine and clen
Hey guys
Ephedrine 25mg
Clen 20mcg
its a combo capsule
Never used on of them before. im busy with a keto and is 6 weeks in. Weight lose is starting to slow down so wanna start adding this.
I want know:
1. how long do these to compounds stay active before the effects start to where of?
2. If the effects is to strong what can one take to make it go away quicker?

First off, clenbuterol is a Beta 2 adrenergic antagonist, which means that it selectively binds to B2 receptors, while ephedrine is non selective and indirectly affects metabolism through stimulation of post-synaptic alpha and beta receptors
In short, taking both of them is going to create competitive inhibition due to both the clenbuterol and ephedrine stimulating common receptors
Also, ephedrine(in an ECA or ECY stack) must be taken every 3-4 hours, while clenbuterol is taken 1-2x/day due to clenbuterol's longer half-life, so taking them in a combined pill is duly counterproductive
If you are in a ketogenic state, i would suggest using ephedrine/caffeine/yohimbine(not yohimbe) for several reasons
Your body right now is breaking down free fatty acids(FFAs) into ketones to be used as the main fuel source of your body, so it would be beneficial to increase the amount of fatty acids released from adipocytes(fat cells) as well as the rate at which they are oxidized(burned)
ephedrine creates a rise in epinephrine and norepinephrine
In this study, http://ajpendo.physiology.org/cgi/co...ull/278/4/E669 , increase in plasma epinephrine levels caused increase in lipolysis as well as FFA mobilization as long as exercise levels were kept at low to moderate intensity, this makes sense since glycolysis is normally the primary mode of energy production during high intensity activity since it neither requires oxygen nor is poisoned by it
addition of caffeine with ephedrine has several benefits, first, caffeine has been known to decrease perceived pain levels allowing longer and harder training and cardio, but it's best effect is due to it's ability to potentiate ephedrine due to it being in the methylxanthine class.
"The interaction between ephedrine and caffeine in the effect on EE and weight loss has been confirmed in human studies (5, 7, 14, 59, 77, 113, 114) [see Astrup (4) for a review]. In a long-term study (6 mo) of 167 obese subjects, the ephedrine/caffeine mixture group lost significantly more weight than the placebo group (13). Thus, with respect to the longer-term use of caffeine or ephedrine, it is theoretically recommended to combine these agents, based upon several longer-term experiments with a positive outcome and likely due to synergistic mechanisms. However, because of adverse effects (see below), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has banned the sale of ephedra-containing dietary supplements." http://ajpregu.physiology.org/cgi/co...full/292/1/R77
Finally the yohimbine, which is an alkaloid of yohimbe. Yohimbine acts as an alpha 2 pre-synaptic antagonist(blocker). When alpha 2 receptors are blocked, FFA mobilization is increased, so taking yohimbine will allow for more fat mobilization and thus more potential fat loss
here's the bad news, taking an ECY stack can skyrocket blood pressure and heart rate if you aren't careful, i would suggest buying a blood pressure cuff and taking some base reading before starting the stack so you know when to stop if you need to
also, remember that these compounds potentiate it's other's effects, so start at a small dosage and work up to a comfortable dose
