nolv and clomid

consensus seems to be "have nolv on hand and end the cycle with clomid." since i need to have clomid on hand anyways, why the need to stock up on nolv? why not use the clomid instead if needed for gyno? isn't 50 mg of clomid was just as effective as 20 mg nolv.

i know that's what people think. and say. i don't understand why though? they are both triphenylethylenes, they both bind to the same receptor. what am i missing?

Nolvadex was DESIGNED with the intention of it being an anti-breast cancer drug, and clomiphene as a fertility drug. Bill Roberts says 50mg of clomid is equivalent to 20mg nolvadex but id rather take the word of a physician
