what happends if you miss the muscle while injecting?

Hey guys i was injecting into my butt and i think i missed the muscle... the oil went in too easy and it didn't hurt at all when i injected..... anyways i know that if you inject into the skin it simply takes longer for it to take effect, but what happends if the needle goes under the skin but misses the muscle? I'm persuming its the same thing if you accidently inject into the fat.

Well, odds are, unless you injected at a 180 degree angle, you hit fat or muscle. It usually takes longer for the oil to disperse in fat.

How on earth can you miss the muscle when injecting IM? you need to inject deep into the muscle not just under the skin.

I guess it depends on the site of the injecting, and you should be using the proper needle size to make deep into the muscle.

that's a tough one. Like said, what size pin are you using?

Also as said, it will just take longer to absorb. They are studies out there that claim you can inject into the fat cells and it still works but I think I will stick with what is true and known.
