    Constantly changing Protocols...

I have a very serious question here I am hoping to get answered. I have recently been reading some old threads and it seems like today's big no no's were widely accepted as the way thing were done years ago. Example. Deca only cycle, is it true that this used to be considered ok to do? PCT Protocols constantly changing too. Along with Pyramid cycles that are now considered wrong. How do we know that current protocols viewed as acceptable won't become very wrong in a few years. How do we know what we are doing is right when so much changes in what is perceived as right and wrong.

Studies showed that piramid cycles dont make easier your natural test level recovery, practice showed that deca without test make you impotent, the same with the old pct protocols showed that it wasnt the best possible, people just actualize theyselves man
You can do the old school way but it had became obsolet, you can do better now

The silence in this thread says a lot. With all the parroting that goes on this site, I thought this question was a good one. So I ask again, why not do what works best for you as an individual as opposed to listening to advise that is currently considered correct, when in a year or two it might be completely different.

Cycle plans and pct protocols naturally evolve with time and knowledge like everything else in life...
Do not ask me for a source check.

exactly, it's called progress. in the steroid culture what was common in the 70's and 80's was effective, but not necessarily as safe and efficient as the protocols that replaced them. in just about any field trial and error leads to evolution of a sort as methods become better. the outdated cycles were replaced for a reason, and I would be amazed if 30 years from now there hasn't been further evolution, possibly new compounds and certainly new protocols that lead to advancements in knowledge. of course there will be a day in the future where what we're doing now seems sub-standard, but for today it's the pinnacle of our current knowledge threshold. people were thrilled with black and white tv when it became available to the public. color tv made b+w obsolete, then plasma, lcd, etc, but we never would be where we are without that b+w tv. progress marches on.

thanks guys, those are some concrete answers. I kind of knew the answer but wanted to hear from some vets on this topic. I appreciate the honesty and you guys are great. Reminds me of medical care and how it's also constantly evolving and changing with the times and as studies are released. I just wanted to feel more comfortable accepting information from this site and you guys have helped me with that.

I don't blame you at all for checking and wondering. In the late 80's I had a roommate that sold steroids , he started running deca only. I asked how he knew that was the right thing to take, he said because the guy he got it from told him. I asked well how does that guy know it's the right thing to take? He said because the guy had been using it for almost a year and was huge. I was like "yeah, well how do you know he isn't fvcking himself up?" he pretty much got tired of my questions and asked if I wanted to try it or not. I wanted to get bigger, but with no internet and no decent resources at the library, I decided to pass it up. I wonder what ever happened to those guys, but I'm betting it isn't pretty.

one would wonder the % of those who cycled under "old school protocol" who are now current trt patients vs. how many now will end up in the same situation.

    peace
