Can clomid inhibit your libido?
I was speaking to a guy in the gym who says he never takes clomid because it can inhibit your libido if used during pct. All the information i've studied shows it should kickstart your hpta to start functioning normally again through stimulating FSH and LH.
He said he did a small cycle once with test, proviron and clenbuterol and once finished he used an average dose of clomid for pct (with nolvadex ) which basically killed his libido and made him feel terrible. I need a scientific explanation really as this puts me off using clomid again altogether.
Has anyone else experienced this during pct?

I always experience decreased libido in PC but how can that guy blame it on the clomid. I blame it on the fluctuation in hormones and drop in testosterone after stopping a cycle

The thing is when i have taken clomid i have always used hcg in conjuction with it. HCG is very effective imo but clomid i am sceptical about. My libido drops post cycle as does everyones i would imagine but this makes you wonder whether using clomid could actually be detremental?
There is no evidence to suggest this so it's probably nothing but there are a lot of seasoned pro's on here who probably have some kind of explanation as to why this may have happened to this guy. I am not cycling for a few months anyway but if anyone has any alternatives to clomid that they find effective it would be good to know.

I once got fake test, used dbol with it and stopped after 6 or 7 weeks when it was clear the test was fake, did not do any pct. I had low libido and started clomid weeks later to try something, it totally killed what little I had left. After I stopped using clomid it came back stronger than it was before.
So imo YES it can during use, but it sure fixed my right up

Check this link out, it shows a scientific perspective of Clomid, and reports that in studies recipients experienced loss of libido.

Its weird thàt it does raise your LH and FSH which in turn stimulates test production, but, on the other hand it diminishes libido in many. Apparently Nolvadex can do the same thing.

I have never heard of Clomid or Tamox making one loose their labido. Thats because endogenous testosterone is low during PCT.
Be careful not to blame the loss of labido on the use of SERMs when endo. T is very low because of other reasons. The use of androgens for one.
