Which test to use
I have used cypionate in the past. I wanted to try propionate and was wondering if propionate is any more harsh on hair loss than cypionate? I understand that propionate does not make you retain water. I do not like to use large doses of test. Was going to try 3 shots per week at 50mgs per shot. I was told test suspension is better. From what I have read it seems like suspension is more harsh on hair loss than both and can cause gyno. I do have arimidex , but I am sensitive to gyno so i do not want to have to do arimidex daily due to the cost. Am I correct on my information? I do use propecia, but it only does so much counteracting of the test. Hope my question is not confusing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Used larger doses of test and after awhile it does not seem to make much difference. Been off for about 2 and 1/2 months, using 25mgs anavar and 3iu hgh daily since being off test. Lean right now and like it.
Post cycle therapy is: use 1000 units for 10 days hcg 1 week after cycle, along with clom for 15 days.

Prop causes some water retention. If your gyno prone and cant afford adex then you shouldnt be taking test.

Personally, I've always loved Test Propionate (I've run T. Prop. for every cycle I'd done, save for my very first cycle). Blood levels are more stable, and I feel that sides are less (from more stable blood levels). I also liked the ED injections. When it was once-a-week injections, I'd dread each time I'd have to inject. When I did ED injections, I got over my aversion to needles real quick, because I knew I had to keep my blood levels stable...plus it felt more like I was "cycling", since injecting was a daily routine. That's more of a personal reason, though...
The real reason, IMO, that shorter esters are better is that you're getting more "juice" per ml. Esters have a certain "mass", and occupy more space in the oil, which leaves less room for the actual hormone. For example, I can't remember the exact amount, but Sustanon , with it's cocktail of esters, is something like 65-67% testosterone , whereas something like Enanthate is 72% testosterone, and I believe Propionate is somewhere in the high 70% / low 80% in terms of testosterone concentration (it's been years since I've looked that stuff up, but you get the idea).Last edited by Blue Monkey; 07-12-2010 at 06:42 PM.

I would definitely avoid suspension, to keep the most stable levels it should be shot multiple times a day, every day. the only call I see for suspension is in athletes that are subject to testing.

Not always on var. 3 months on and 4 months off. Always do pct after cycle. Sounds like propionate is worth trying. Will stay away from suspension. Usually only need to take arimadex 2 times per week on 200 mgs of cypionate per week. If I start adding eq or deca I have to use more. Need it daily then. Thanks a lot for everyones help.
