Propecia (finesteride) Side Effects - Low Libido

Has anyone here had side effects after using propecia?

Exactly 2 months ago I got a hair transplant and started taking 1mg of finesteride (propecia) daily.

Recently I have noticed a significant drop in libido.

Has anyone experienced this?

I have also read online that once finesteride lowers your libido in this manner, it doesn't come back even after you stop usage. Is this true?

Side effects of finasteride include impotence (1.1% to 18.5%), abnormal ejaculation (7.2%), decreased ejaculatory volume (0.9% to 2.8%), abnormal sexual function (2.5%), gynecomastia (2.2%), erectile dysfunction (1.3%), ejaculation disorder (1.2%) and testicular pain. Resolution occurred in men who discontinued therapy with finasteride due to these side effects and in most of those who continued therapy

maybe, but that's only treating a symptom, not a cause, which could cover up future symptoms, personally i would consult a doctor and let him make the decision

Finasteride dick, certainly something you will need to adjust too. Unfortunately my transplant and propecia regimen started 10 yrs ago...not very fresh in my mind. Best of luck clomid222

This is so scary. What should I do?

Previously I took proscar for the past 8 month. Recently I had stop the pill. For the past 8 month I do not have any morning erection. The moment I stop the pill, each and every morning I gain back my morning erection and my desire for sex had also when up. I had consulted a doctor beforehand, he informed me that I need to take the pill for quite a number if years but he also informed me that my sex drive and desire would be low. I was warn before, so when I lost my morning erection, I was prepared. But it feel so good when I got back my morning erection. Don't worry dude.
