erection probs after cycle
I've been suffering erection problems since coming off cycle! I've had blood tests and everything has come back normal apart from progesterone which is elevated. Can high progesterone cause erection problems?

Progesterone is a precursor to tetosterone.. I dont believe its your problem..
Your serum levels for test may be fine but your receptors may have downregulated from the cycle...

There may be hormone issues at play, but you should at least consider that psychology plays a role in ED as well. You go to perform and can't. You get frustrated and depressed. The next time you are under pressure to perform, and don't. More frustration, more depression, more performance anxiety. It's a vicious cycle. Part of it may also be subconscious feelings of being less-than what you were while on cycle. Subconsciously you don't feel like a proper man, and as men how we feel about our manhood directly affects our manhood, so to speak. I would suggest possibly speaking to a therapist. Having an understanding and patient partner is also a must. I would try things other than ED drugs, and exhaust all those avenues before taking anything like that. Drugs always have side affects, dependency issues (either physical or psychological), etc. America is very much a drug society, always looking for the quick fix, and never really looking at the downside. Good luck!

I had this happen to me after my cyclce of Enanthate . My PCT was fairly poor dosed. What was your PCT? Get some Tribulus extract, its faily cheap and should aid in helping you get it up. Its all natural herb, that will aid in your libido. Dont worry you will get it back...
Also TIMES 2 what TKO said...very true...mind set...

Progesterone is your problem. Period.
High progesterone levels stimulate your pituitary to release prolactin - prolactin suppresses your sex drive and causes erectile dysfunction issues. Prolactin is secreted in large amounts after you have an orgasm, which is the reason for the refractory (AKA downtime) period after you orgasm.
You must have used either tren or deca previously in your cycle. Both ARE progestins and cause the body to secrete large amounts of prolactin. This is why you should use cabergoline or bromocriptine while on cycle when using any 19-nor steroids such as tren or deca.
Get yourself some bromocriptine or cabergoline and it should clear your problem up immediately.
