So I'm new to all this...

Here's a bit about myself. I'm 20 but I've been lifting seriously since I was about 17. I love working out and in my opinion there's no better feeling than getting pumped at the gym with your friends. I've read through a lot of the informative threads on this site and I've found a lot of them to be incredibly helpful. I've given this some serious thought and I've decided that it's something I really want to do; I'm committed and passionate about bodybuilding. My real question is where should I start? What, in your opinion, is the best way for a newbie to get his feet wet? Thanks

Diet, training, sleep, supplements, in that order. These should be your main priorities. Focus on those and build a strong solid foundation. Take advantage of all the test your swimming in at your age.

Thanks. I'm fairly happy with my diet and training right now but my sleep schedule could use work same with my supplement routine

Fix the sleeping habits man. It's crucial that you get a good night's rest, this is when all the growing takes place. Only supplements you would need at this point would be whey isolate, creatine monohydrate, free form bcca's, and some fish/flax oil.

I'm actually taking all those supplements except for the fish oil. As for the sleeping I'm doing my best to fix that...

Good deal. Fish oil would be a solid product to invest in. Many benefits to healthy fats.

    Sleep is essential for growing.

Stay natural for the time being, allow your endocrine system to develop fully and allow your growth plates to fuse.
