Testosterone keeping the body anti-catabolic, Experts please advise
I understand that AAS keep the body running in an anabolic state and through research I understand that Testosterone keeps the body from running, or at least help out, when using a deficit in diet to keep the body in an anti-catabolic state.
So besides using it to build muscle, its also good when cutting up when your diet is calorie deficient and you need to spare muscle. (performing cardio, etc...)
Can someone please chime in and explain to me how test keeps you anti-catabolic?

I don't think you can be in a anabolic state as well as a catabolic state. Hence why you would take gear while cutting... To preserve mass while shedding fat.

it prevents you from going catabolic by speeding up the anabolic processes in your body.
Also lowers cortisol, increases IGF-1, increase glycogen uptake, increase protein synthesis, increase nitrogen retention etc etc

with an increase in glycogen uptake mean that the body will utilize more carbs instead of storing them as fat?

I already know that test is used to spare muscle, my question was pretty much asking the scientific research behind testosterone and how it keeps you anit-catabolic
