Bunk gear question

Guy I know, his dad is a doctor. He claims that his dad tested his gear (test cyp) and it came back as barely having any test in it. I'm hearing this 2nd hand so I don't have all the details but is it likely his dad can figure all that out since he's a doctor or is he blowing smoke?

Is there a way to test the gear that is cost effective?

I know Im not giving you guys enough information to make a real judgement just hoping to get some opinions/experiences with this

I would be suspecious of it. I guess it depends on what type of doctor he is. Is he a general practice doctor? I just dont know how he could test it since it would have to be sent to a lab (which isnt going to be cheap), and even if he paid for it himself, I would find it odd that a lab would just do a random test on some UGL (I assume it was UGL) gear and not question anything. And a lot of labs are pretty strict on everything, so it would be even more odd that it was not noticed by any higher ups. Maybe he knew all the lab workers, maybe he paid for it out of pocket, maybe they did it as a favor....

Just seems like too many special circumstances would have to be in place.

And maybe it is all true.... what do I know?

I think a more likely scenario is that his dad simply didn't want him doing steroids so he told him that the test was no good. If you heard that from someone you trusted you'd probably spare yourself injections of what you were reasonably sure would do nothing for you.
