Is this scar tissue buildup?

I have been injecting 2x week using mostly my quads (meaning it would be 7 whole days before one site is recycled), but now including my glutes as well. At any rate, returning to my left quad today, I feel resistance in the flesh almost as the needle bottoms out (a few millimeters before the needle is all the way in). I can press through it, but it feels more dense somehow. I have no memory of this kind of texture when I first started the cycle.

Is this scaring or could it be something else?

Yes sounds like scar tissue. I have hit the same many times. Im on HRT.

This is the first cycle I've done (doing).

I try to change it a few inches, but it's not like the last site leaves a mark or anything so it's kind of hard to say in actuality.
