I don't know much about the gels. Did your dr say why he won't put you on trt? Maybe your levels aren't that low and you just want him to tell you what you wanna hear for an excuse to be on trt. What are your levels?

Also is the doc an endo or a gp?

Is it your GP that told you this? I would go to a specialist or a least another doctor. At your age you should/could be on TRT. TRT helped me get back to where I was in life. Everything is better on TRT.

I used Androderm for years and found my Testosterone levels to be all over the place. Androderm and Androgel type products are basically testosterone suspension in a topical application. They are meesy and smelly and can rub off too. Injections are the way to go, if you can get that protocal. When I was on Androderm, my levels would go from 87 to over 1100's, but it was not consistent. I had hot flashes and was on an emotional rollercoaster.

I have a compounded T from my BHRT doctor and my BF uses AndroForte 5%. The AndroForte is for real, it works just as well as expensive stuff from the pharmacy -- maybe even better. Don't know if this thread is still active but figured I'd throw in my $.02.

    Good luck,
