Alcohol and gettin drunk on steroids?

So im not a drinker at all only a few times in my life to be social and have never been drunk..this weekend went on vacation and wanted to get drunk with a girl and after six shots of patron nothing happened. Do i have a high tolerance to alcohol or maybe something to do with my cycle? Finishing up a test e, tren e, anvar cycle and have been off tren for awhile and finished anvar..

Your cycle has nothing to do with your tolerance for alcohol. Weight and prior experience more so..

Also if you were eating while drinking the food will soak up some of the alcohol an will be harder to get drunk, same sort of thing if you had a big meal prior to drinking.

How did you react your other 3 times drinking? If you've drank 3 times in your life then 6 drinks should get you PLOWED.

Protein slows the absorption/metabolization of ethanol. Did you have a solid meal with a lot of protein before drinking? Because that will increase your tolerance more than anything.

Tht's true but I don't think it matters in this case. To somebody who has never drank...6 drinks should leave your face in the toilet, regardless of any amount of food in the belly. Not only did he not puke like a maniac...he said that "nothing" happened.

Really why would six shots put you in the toilet how does that make sense. lots of factors not just 6 shots timeing of shots duration drinks ingested weight i can't rembember the exact enzyme that breaks alcohol down but people differ as do ethnic backgrounds in relation to amount of enzyme deoxy something someone can look it up i read it long time ago. So needless to say juice and alcohol not a factor unless lots of liver toxic orals takin to cause cirrohsis or renal failure other wise good to go.

Not something you really want to do. But I know I have done it. Just don't make it a habit or your wasting your gear IMO.

No that's true. The enzyme (if I remember my bio-chem correctly) is alcohol dehydrogenase and the asian population tends to lack it, as do women. Were not not talking about a regular drinker here man...were talking (essentially) a virgin. To someboy who has casually drank 2 or 3 times in their life....2 or 3 drinks will get you drunk, generally. Again....listen...we're not even talking drunk here...he said that, "NOTHING" happened. Not even a buzz. So...either 1. He's lying 2. he was served flavored water or 3. he's a genetic freak with more Alcohol dehyrdogenase floating around his system to serve an entire community.....the ingestion of food or any other factor apart from those 3 cannot explain why this particular individual did not even BEGIN to feel the effects of 6 drinks.

Where did you go on vacation? Were you drinking in a nice bar, or a club? If you went to a club they could have watered the alcohol way down. This happens more and more as the night goes on. So if you were drinking late at night at a known vacation spot, that's what I would put my money on.

question for you vets, I got a cycle coming up in sep. School just started and shiit gets crazy around here during halloween and during first semester, lots of parties and the bars are always busy.

I like to go out, but do not do not do not want to jeopardize gains on drinking alcohol once a week. I still want to go out and have a good time, relax, etc. Any alternatives to alcohol? Or would having a few drinks 1 night of each week really be that big of a deal?

    rec drugs aren't an option.

    "College Drinking by L.N.

Drinking is a part of college life. I mean lets be realistic, virtually everyone who goes away to college experiments with drinking. Even I did. I drank all of last year and part of this year before I realized it was time to put a stop to it. However the reason I stopped was not because I feared becoming an alcoholic or because my drinking was out of control, on the contrary.

I was a responsible drinker and I knew my limits and I never crossed them. I also made it a point to confine my drinking to the weekends only. Now if you are not a competitive bodybuilder and you just want to look good, it's ok to go out and drink on the weekends, not heavily mind you, but a 6 pack won't kill you. Some ways that you can make sure that the alcohol affects your muscle building as little as possible are the following...

    * Consume about 50g of slow digesting protein (casein) before you begin to drink. Since I doubt you will want to fix a chicken breast while your kicking it with your buddies, the slow digesting protein will help keep you out of catabolism while you drink.

    * Take a vitamin an hour before you drink. Many vitamins are not absorbed while you drink and thus taking a vitamin before you drink gives your body a chance to absorb these vitamins before the alcohol is introduced.

    * Consume a lot of water before, during, and after you consume alcohol. I would recommend drinking 32 oz before you begin, an oz of water for every oz of alcoholic beverage you consume, and then 32 oz of water again after you finish."

    Should help a bit.

i always been told the heavier you are the more alcohol your body can tolerate, (thats why men can drink more then women) so if you gained 8kg on your cycle your tolerance might have improved a little.

My understanding is that that is an urban legend and that alcohol lingers around longer in fatter people.

At any rate, the reason that men can drink more than women is that they have more alcohol dehydrogenase then women do.

Thanks bro, I have deff seen this article before, good info indeed.

Just wish there was some safe way that isn't contradictory to bodybuilding and health that gives the same effects of alcohol. Would be so rich if one could create something like that.

That's what I was getting at...it's not "heavier" that has anything to do with it it is bodyfat...which women have more of...and Alcohol dehydrogenase...which they have less of.

If you are srs about doing a cycle, why jeapordize that with alcohol?

stay on the cycle and have a cheat meal instead...

alcohol drains ur body of vital fluids and puts extra pressure on the liver
