Can the body build muscle after cycle?

Heyy guys, I'm curious as to if the body is capable of building muscle after complete shutdown? Assuming one goes through a 8 week cycle of 500mg test a week, this would certainly shut down the body's natty test production right? If no PCT is used will the body be in a catabolic state for how long exacly(I know everyone is different, but I'm looking for an approximite answer) ? and is it possible to build muscle at this stage?

Why are you asking about a cycle with no PCT?

There is no exact answer to how long it will take you to recover. You may have good reproductive genetics and bounce back in a few months, or it could take a year or two...or you may never recover. And without any testosterone (or other androgens), you will be in a constant catabolic state and unable to build muscle.

I posted a thread about a month ago, because i was forced to stop my cycle midway and I couldn't get my hands on nolva/clomid. I just got my Nolvadex , Clomid and HCG so I'm running an agressive PCT from today. I'm just asking because during the past month even tho my strength has stayed the same, after each workout I seem to be shrining and shrinking, despite keeping up a +500 over maintenace diet, 250g+ protein, high complex carbs, etc, guess this means I got shut dwn hardddd

Thats because your shutdown... what did you expect? The reason we all run PCT is to start back up our bodys natural testosterone production. Sense you decided to start your cycle without having your PCT on hand and then stopped your cycle... Of course your going to lose gains and shrink because its going to take a damn long time for your natural test production to start up again without PCT IF it even will. So yes your going to most likely lose your gains from the cycle considering the timing of your PCT.

I'm glad to hear you have what you need now but I cannot help but wonder why a lot of people seem to start cycles without having either all the gear needed or their PCT & AIs in place. Just does not make sense. GL with your recovery.

Took me about 2 and half months before I started to gain at a normal rate natural post cycle. I worked very hard just trying to maintain what I had gained and I'll be the first to say it's near impossible to keep it all. I kept more then most. As far as strength I kept it all but lbm went down a hair. I was 206 with about 10%bf now I am 206 with about 12-13%bf.

This is why people stress not cycling unless you know exactly what you are doing and you REALLY need it. You can make better gains and keep them with a simple diet change in most cases. Cycling when not absolutely needed will only set you back in the long run.

This is the absolute truth. I've experienced this myself. Hope others learn.

I think 'shut down' after cycle is over rated. I've never had is so bad I'm crying like a girl or can't get my cock hard, also trainings not that much harder after cycle, I tend to lose some strength and a bit of size.

Try it and find out what happens to you, it's the only way you will know.

    Everybody is different

I agree. I am the same way. Provided I don't go too crazy on the test. Many time I have just taken Tribulus (yeah I know lots say it's crap) and light Arimedex and had no problems.

I am not saying proper PCT isn't warranted. I just know both ways I have never seen a big difference. I may just be one of the lucky ones. I think spacing out your cycles to one or two good ones a year makes a difference too. At least for the basic gym rat.

I think the biggest problem is I am so spent after a cycle from working out so hard that I tend to slack a bit after which causes me to lose some strength and size.

To answer this is quite simple. Guys are uneducated! They have a buddy thats doing it or a friend ect. Hey do this cycle of deca and get big? They will notice some gains, but they just have the knowledge to do it right.
I know because when I had a friend ask me if I wanted to do a cycle, I figured it would make me big and thats it. Until I came across this web site. I cant't believe how wrong and how misguided I was. I so happy that I found it in time so I could start the right methods as far as pct. ect. My next cycle wil be awesome, because I will be prepared, I will have the right diet in place, proper PCT, and proper times. The road map is set and I will get to me goal. I can't wait. I have lost 5% BF already due to my diet and I have 10% to go. Thanks for all who has contributed to my knowledge. Especially the vets. Unless you have the entire plan and course of action don't pin yourself. Cheers and GOD bless
