    Exclamation Help!

An aquaintance/friend..ish wants me to source him some product for his studies, and I said sure.

Through conversations with him, I am getting a BAD feeling about it and I want to bail on it.

I can post the "edited" conversation if it's allowed... I just need some advice for my situation.

Simple, be honest with him. Honesty is always the best policy.

I told him that "I don't want to get into a bait deal", and his reaction was off-putting...

Maybe the passive approach was not obvious enough.. Time to be blunt.

Shady people are just a part of the game. Always best to trust your gut

It sounds like you would like to remain friends with this person. If you dont want to be blunt ( although its always best ) then you can simply say you lost your source. Say he moved or quit the game ect.

I would just tell him straight out. Something to the effect of "Bro I like you and I do not want to screw up our friendship over stupid shit and thats why mixing business and pleasure never works out". Its simple polite and obvious.
