taking HCG minus a cycle
Before I go into this I did a search and didnt find anything to what Im about to inquire about.
Im 5,11
25 years old
165 lbs
8 percent body fat
been working out for 6 years consistently
and run a clean diet
I've taken Steroids before but have no desire to take them again due to my age. Ive got better results from just a clean diet and plently of rest. However, since my last cycle which was was from november 2009 to february 2010, 10 weeks 1 shot a week of test sus 450. Ive noticed my testicales havent returned to there normal size and feel as if my natural testosterone hasnt fully returned. So I went to a Internal Medicine Doctor, told him my situation, ran a blood test just to make sure everything was "ok". Everything was fine from what he said.
I still feel as if my natural testosterone hasnt fully returned and neither has the size of my testicales. I've heard that Hcg will restart your Natural testosterone when its the appropriate time after your cycle.
My question is would taking HCG naturally release more testosterone and return my testicales to there natural size after all his time Ive been off steroids ? and if so what would be a good dosage to take ?
Thanks.

After having elevated test levels you may never "feel" like your test levels are normal. I like HCG but there are a lot of people on here that has a lot more experience with your problem than I.
Clomid may be another option.

why?..... he already did?
....
Metal-cracker, what did your doctor test you for? and do you know what your levels came back at?
What you need to do is do a new PCT. It has the potential to help you regain full function of your HPTA again.
Basically, I wouldn't necessarily utilize HCG . however, if you still have some present testicular atrophy then the HCG will definitely bring back from size and volume of your testes.
However, HCG can not be your only component to the PCT. you must also include a regiment of SERMS, for example, nolvadex and clomid..... or clomid and tore. (look up at the www.ar-r.com banner at the top of page if you need a place in the USA to get these products.)
This is how I would lay out your PCT...
(week 1) HCG @ 250iu every 2nd day.
(week 1) Aromasin @ 10mg each day
^^ Now after the first week you will discontinue both the aromasin and the HCG, and begin using a reigment of SERMS to help boost your testosterone levels .
(weeks 2 - 6) Nolvadex @ 30mg each day for first 2 weeks; 20mg each day for proceeding two.
(weeks 2 - 6) Clomid @ 50mg each day for 2 weeks; 25mg/ed proceeding 2 weeks.
Keep in touch with me, and ask me any questions along the way.
Best of luck,
-VM

If everything is working OK and his blood test are normal (test levels) I would think doing just the HCG is the right answer since he is looking mainly for shrinkage/atrophy recovery.

I wouldn't advise HCG on a standalone level due to it interupting the HPTA feedback loop the same way synthetic testosterone does. In conjunction with SERMS would probably be a wiser choice.

There was another post on this forum that talked about "normal" level of Test. The Test range for "Normal" is pretty wide. You want to be in the upper 1/3 of the "normal" range. You should find the exact numbers and check to see where "normal" is for you.

Another thing to add to this bro. Always have the doc show you why he says your normal. Look at the paperwork yourself and have him explain it to you. Also a good idea to educate yourself on what the numbers mean on a blood test. Get a copy of every single test for your personal record. As for him saying normal, whats normal on the scale and normal for you to feel good maybe way apart.
