New pin trick

I ordered a box of 1" pins and they sent me 2". Damn it, thats way to big for my skinny ass. My girl gives me my shot and does not like to have it sticking out so far and having to keep from sliding too deep while administering. I took a razor and cut the cap in half. Now place the cap on the pin and voiala, you have a 1" pin. Save the cap in a ziplock with some alcohol and reuse as much as needed.

Reusing is very unhygenic and your putting yourself at a much higher risk of infection. Just get some more in the right size. Don't put yourself at risk.

From my understanding he is talking about re-using the cap he made what goes over the needle to make it 1" instead of 2" and not the needle.

I see.. he leaves the 1" cap on the 2" needle making the part that is inserted 1". Creative!
