    quad injection question

i injected 1ml of test e in my quad Friday evening. Now its Sunday morning and the stiffness in my quad is still there, i hobble down stairs and theirs no way im about to run with this stiffness.
there is no redness, very very minimal swelling. its a bit better then it was saturday.
its my first injection ever and wondered if this is common.

Dude, exactly the same thing happened to me. Quads were very painful the few days after injection.

    1) Glutes don't hurt anywhere near as bad
    2) The pain does stop pretty much completely by injection 4/5 in that muscle providing you use good technique

    - Heat the oil to body temp before injecting
    - Inject slowly
    - Exercise that muscle and massage a lot after injecting
    - Be careful working that muscle the next day, thats what make mine hurt
    - Use a heated pad at night

I'm over half way through my first cycle now and the injection pain is virtually completely gone in quads and glutes with 2cc now

Thanks for sharing your experience, it puts my mind at ease.

Quads are much easier but so much more prone to hurting.

Lol, when I saw the 'wow 2cc!' I thought u we're being sarcastic but yeh, pretty standard, people do more than that.

I did only quads, for my first cycle and rotated left, right...
With the first 3-4 injections i had post injection pain, and lasted about 3-4 days. I was so sore that i had discomofrt while walking...

wanted to bring this back up because now its day 4 and i have splotchy red skin on the leg i injected on. there is no redness where the injection site, its all below where my shot was given guessing a 6inx6in area where its splotchy red(the redness is fairly faint). my leg is noticeably swollen and still sucks to walk on.
One guy said its my body reacting to the foreign subtance in my body.
i was wondering if anyone had the same experience or know what is going on.
again it was my first injection ever of 400mg/ml test E.

possible you hit a vein. Did you have any sharp pains while injecting? Also I always pin the side of the quad instead of straight down. I also inject the needle very slow. Taking my time caused less pain.

i will do the glute next time. its getting better slowly, but very slowly.
My biggest concern is infection, it seems like you guys arnt concerned with infection from what i have told you (yay!). I myself don't thinks its infection by the looks and feel. i was very very careful with being sterile. I wore gloves and the whole bit.
I injected mid quad off to the right about two inches of center line and went straight down. i looked up the anatomy of the quad and i might have been on the edge of the rectus femoris muscle, or injected into the vastus lateralis muscle. If i did inject into vastus lateralis muscle would that be the source of my discomfort?

i would chalk it up to virgin muscle, so long as the injection site isn't hot yo the touch and your not feverish or have chills. i may take 5 or 6 injections in the quad before it gets any easier
