patience is a virtue! there is no way around it, to do it right you got to let your body mature naturally and reach its potential, then consider AAS.

    Great text!

Hopefully everyone who considers use of AAS under the age of 25 reads this.

What about only doing 1 or max 2 every 1 or 2 years. I'm 19 and have been researching into steroids for about 6 months, I want to get a head start in the fitness world and instead of achieving my goals in 5 years, i could achieve them in 2/3 years. Yes people may call that cheating, but life is too short and i want to get as far as possible as early as possible, so if i just done an 8 week bulking cycle and an 8 week cutting cycle each once a year, that shouldn't be messing with my hormones too much should it? I would think over using would bite you in the back. Also my next point, the golden age of bodybuilding.. all the living legends, they abused steroids from a young age and are all still healthy and still lifting with no known health issues.

Too* and uhh, everyone has questions that's why they're here, no one said your question about working the injected muscle was dumb so don't insinuate my questions are dumb....also, if you had read the thread you SHOULD have said I wouldn't want you to lose too much TEST, but hey, I know you obviously just breezed thru tofind some dirt, I commend the effort......anyhow, I highly doubt you have any worthwhile info that need to be pm'd, why can't you just post your info??

please no one listen to this kid, he doesn't know anything about what he is going to do to his body and he can obtain his goals naturally if only he had the mentality to properly train correctly and understand foods.

Bud these guys die all the time, most people refer to Arnold who will openly say he messed up, he has health ailments, bypasses and such....also, it will affect your system, it can after one cycle....8 weeks is mostly useless with most steroids in terms of gains but they all shut you down quick....put it this way, if you get results, your hpta will be shut down, and may never re start the same way.........science, not broscience....besides, at your age I was almost built like I am now, but after a lengthy set back, it took a long time to get here as I am less testosterone fueled than I wasten years ago, keep that stuff in mind bubba

That was surprisingly mature from a young person.....like it's been said, you should simply wait, if you don't, all the tools you need are here but I wouldn't expect any input from most people, largely because no one wants to feel responsible when someone messes themselves up...

    Thanks Marcus,

I'm simply trying to familiarize myself with this information now so later down the road should I decide to experiment with aas I will know my risks and how to minimize them while getting the most out of my cycle. I also realize there is a lot of great information to be taken from te threads that I can apply to my training now. (nutrition, routines, ect,) Are there any threads that you would recommend?

Thanks for clearing this up. I will definitely postpone me going on a cycle for atleast a couple years. I've been training for about 3-4 years, and it is very frustrating to not get the results you want. Recently, I noticed my scoliosis is coming back. This coupled with my knee tendinosis (degrading of the knee tendon) has made me search for anabolics to try to grow my tendons and muscles back to their norm. hGH and IGF-1 would surely help my knee recover quickly with a good training program and diet. But after all of this research lately, I think I'll keep training with my 5x5 program and keep squatting. I'll be back on this forum in a few years.

I'd like to see one of these for 40-50+ year olds. Being that old has to cause more difficulties with restarting the HPTA that struggles to produce the same amount of test/GH/LH and other hormones each year. Anyone ever think of this?

*Obviously this takes "development" of the equation tho.

Food for thought hmmm, maybe some of the guys on TRT linked to steroid use had this caused by their last cycle, not their first at a young age. Or you know just plain old abuse and bad protocol. I'm not knocking the post at all, just tossing out other view points on certain things.

40 and 50 year olds have already approached or approaching late onset hypogonadism. Restarting HPTA is the last thing on their mind.

You lost me there. Are you implying HCG and not PCT is their primary concern bc it prevents/reverts hypogonadism?

Great post! Thank you for the valuable information.
I am 21 y.o. and I started an anadrol 50 cycle 5 days ago (my first cycle ever). After reading this article I am now going to stop and wait until I am at least 24-25 years old or maybe I will never use again.
I made substantial strength gains over the past 5 days and have gained a couple pounds but I cannot tell if it is a placebo or if it is a result of the drol. Is it possible that my gains have been a result of using drol for only 5 days? I am not stacking with any other steroids .

Also, can taking drol for only 5 days have an effect on my test levels in the future? I do not want to screw around with my hormones and that is why I decided to stop taking them as soon as i read this article. Should I be worried even though I stopped my cycle after 5 days?

    sorry for the noobish questions

We have a lot of young members at the moment thinking they know everything about steroids and its the answer to their dreams. It use to annoy me but now I laugh because I know exactly what they going to go through and believe me low test is like living every day in hell being anally abused

I think this should be pretty clear for most people. Athletes do the best in that age range naturally: 18-25. That is the prime age for top natural performance. So that should say something about bodybuilding as well. I would also presume this is the prime age to gain muscle naturally. I am no scientist however and so even at the maximum natural ability to gain muscle, there will always be more growth opportunity synthetically via AAS. So the question really just becomes- what age are you done developing so you don't 'stunt' your growth and regret it later on. That seems to be the main thing, just making sure you are done growing genetically.

If your done growing naturally then a cycle will be paying $ to look good for/ enhance performance for x amount of months and then risking all the above effects (except being young and making things all crazy super fcked up apparently) just to come back to your genetic potential which 99% people will probably never reach unless you locked them in a gym with a kitchen for 10 years and then gave them a perfect nutrition plan, training regime and a Tempurpedic mattress.

Do you honestly think that someone like myself can look like someone like Batista naturally? Even with proper diet and training? Pfft, sure, whatever.

most people my age will just say, yeah whateva..
so i would recommend putting down both options, let them know the details of ages n effects but also give them a cycle that they can use, and if they use properly they will not be in the way of any harm, i know people who supply heavy anabolics for first time users. i recommend just put up a cycle, very easy to understand as if a 12yr old was reading, including how much to eat, what to eat and what not to eat for either gaining just muscle, just bulk or inbetween,(sounds bad) but its better than getting it from black market and having no idea of whats happening. thankyou.
