    Injection problem

I'm having this problem with losing some of my product before injecting. When I swap out the needle tips after drawing the product out and putting a new needle on for injection, I think the old tip keeps some fluid with it because after I push any existing air out with the new tip, I lose about one line's worth of product before I inject. Do you guys always put one line above to acquire for this loss or am I doing something wrong? I dont want to keep filling it one line above then get to the last shot and only have half of a shot's worth, or do the vials come slightly overfilled for the issue? Thanks

when i got it to the line i want i normaly pull some air back into the schringe, then change the the needle, then push the air back out... this leaves no loss

    ^^^ x2

but when you actually go to inject you will lose almost .1 mL in the end of the plastic portion of the needle so I always overdraw by .1mL to make sure I am dosing correctly.

Ok I get what you are sayin but what about on the last shot you have to take from the vial, wouldn't it be a lot less then you need from overdrawing on all the previous shots?

Boy here is a product opportunity, make a new type of plunger tip with an oil resevoiur that would be compressed at the end of the plunger travel. The plunger tip would hold .2ml of vegable oil and at the end of the shot clear the body and needle of any AAS.

Or you could just overfill by .1 and call it a day

Yeah I guess you could which is how Ihave been doing it.. But say you are doing 10 250mg shots and the first 9 you overdraw by .1ml wouldn't that leave you with .9ml less on the last shot?

Yes.....you are losing some in the tip every time. So in a 10ml bottle if you are doing 1cc shots....do not expect to get 10 shots out of it. You will only get 9 because of the loss. That is a fact. If you get 10 you are underdrawing or you are getting bonus volume in your vial.

its true, but you have to factor this in when ordering gear. Im very lucky that my source makes an 11mL for the price of a 10mL for just this reason.

Can't say the same about my source. Guess I'll be underdrawing for the rest of this cycle and remember this lesson for my next cycle..

In my experience, pharma grade products have about +5-10% more stuff in the ampoule, volume wise, than specified. This is to account for such losses during administration.

Well I guess I'll find out in a few weeks when I'm at the end of this vial.. Do you think that going .1ml less for the next few weeks is going to make a huge effect on my test levels since it's not exactly the same each week? Or should I not worry about it

Don't worry about it. If you under draw by a little bit to make it last longer you will be fine. It is barely a different dose. You will be just fine.
