    Winstrol for weightloss??

I am 37, 5'11" and weigh 345 lbs. I have been big all my life and have tried everything under the sun short of surgery and steroids to lose weight....and yes even a good diet and lots of exercise. I have had blood work done many times and am told my thyroid levels are low but within normal range so no thyroid meds. I have tried the HCG diet, which met with success for a while but after a short while stopped working and I gained back what little I had lost. I know gastric bypass would work but am saving that as a very last resort. I have read all about the different steroids and their uses and effects. I have found the most popular for cutting fat is winstrol but I am wondering if this is just for body builders need to cut a few pounds or if it may also be used for someone like me, trying to lose a lot of fat. I have pretty much made up my mind to try this, I would just like some input if anyone cares to share.

no to Winstol... Winny will not make you skinny!
Cardio and diet ='s the mantra here.... believe me be
post you thyroid BW levels..that might help, since many docs treat the number and not the symptoms..perhaps you need a little thyroid help....did they check your t-3 specifically? since t-3 deals with metabolism and many docs do not do this...
also might want to reveal what you are eating in the diet section...I know this is hard..I know...but a good start!
Have you checked your testosterone levels ?

WELCOME! you have come to a great place!

I wish I had numbers to post, I can never get the doctors to give me a copy of my results for some reason. As for my current diet, which I have been on for over a year now, since trying the HCG diet. I eat salads for lunch and dinner with very little vinegarette dressing, for breakfast I have 4-6 egg whites, for dinner and lunch I also have about 1-2 cups of extra lean ground beef for my protein sourse. I am not a meat eater so this is about the best I can do for meat. My caloric intake is around 1000-1200, so I see no reason to not be losing weight. My sodium is kept to a bare minimum. I drink only water and plenty of it. I eat no sugars, no starches, very low carbs.
It is funny you mentioned the Testosterone levels ....I have been researching hormone therapy also and actually have an appointment next week to check that. If that is what my problem has been all along I am going to be pissed at all the doctors who have done blood work in the past.
My goal is not to put on mass, I just want to lose about 150 pounds of fat. I think I have plenty of muscle, I just need to get the fat out of the way so the muscle can be seen, haha.

People refer to Winstrol as a 'cutting' steroid .

Basically you use it while on a cut to maintain, or even in some cases, increase strength. If you are cutting you are losing muscle. Plain and simple, unless you are using steroids such as Winstrol.

That oral or injectable steroid will NOT cause you to lose weight. As a matter of fact, it will throw your blood pressure and cholesterol levels into even more dangerous levels.

Like above, I would suggest diet, cardio and possibly t3. Definately not clen , or anything that would increase strain on the heart.

I suppose I dont necessarily care about the weight, that is, I would not care so much about weighing 345 if it were all muscle. So I guess my question is really more about FAT LOSS, rather than just weightloss. And NO, I do not plan to try Clenbuterol , from what I have read it is basically like the old mini-thins or other caffeine pills, I do not need that sleepless jittery feeling. Also on that note....can anyone tell me what feelings you get with Winstrol ?

you might not be eating enough and I am serious...you also need to eat about every 3 hours to keep your metablism up so your body does not have a chance to store fat...this is paramount...gotta have fuel to burn fat....

Horrible idea. It won't help you, and would be terrible for your health.
The only substance I would recommend you look into is T3, but even then...

@ SlimmerMe....believe me I have tried multiple variations of what I eat, how much I eat, and how often I eat. Right now, the current diet is at least letting me maintain rather than gaining any more. I even power walk at least 2-3 miles every day except sunday. I still do some work outs with dumb-bells and medicine ball, as well as crunches and leg lifts. I quit wasting my money on the gym as it was having no results.
Now you all are saying that AS's wont help me so that is rather depressing. Maybe I will just have to go on the Jenny-Crank diet...haha, just kidding. I hope I get some good news out of this hormone therapy thing. Thanks all for comments.

If the above diet is accurate, you should be losing weight rather quickly. It also sounds as though you are getting some physical activity, which is good. In my opinion you need to find a specialist that can provide the proper diagnosis. Your pituitary sounds as though there may be some problems. A MRI may be needed to rule out any abnormalities.

You don't need to use any steroids right now. Until you know what is causing your problems they may do even more damage. Find a good endocrinologist / urologist and keep on them until you find out what is wrong.

    Good luck.

OH NO!!!! no depression allowed! please....if you hang out long enough and keep providing more info with your BW and diet and such, then I am sure this forum will help you so much...IT WILL....there might be someone who chimes in with something which could provide the help you are seeking...I will say. though, around here most people do agree it is hard work and that there is no magic pill..but if you keep sharing more as more members read your plight, then help will keep coming!

Steroids can actually make you bigger when BF is not down since so many hormones are in play

OP, listen to the advice given to you, especially from Slimmerme.

Winstrol will not help you and at your weight and BF, you will probably have trouble excersising or even walking while on Winstrol due to it drying out your joints.

AAS will not make you burn fat.

    Good Luck

No worries, I get it. Steroids are for those already in good shape who have gained/lost all they can naturally and need that little boost to get over the plateau. I will put that on the back burner for now. I have an appointment this friday at a BHRT clinic, hopefully they will tell me that all my problems are due to a major hormone imbalance and all I need is some hormone therapy. If that fails then I have already ordered some T3 from ARR. I do know from past blood work that my thyroid levels are low but they have always been just barely above the "normal" range so nobody will prescribe thyroxin or other meds. Anyway, I will hold off doing anything drastic until I see what comes of this hormone stuff.

Have you figured out how much t-3 to take? You might want to start a whole new thread on this alone to make sure to do this correctly as far as dosing as in ramping up or whatnot and time to take it and any other tips...just my .02
I hope t-3 helps you...I do...I have been thinking about getting some myself but I am already on Armour thyroid which has some in it already...
It is amazing how docs simply look at the charts and declare normal as okay. Once you hang around here, you will see this more and more.

ps: the hormone replacement therapy forum might be a better forum for you for these issues (IMO) and if you post another post, just make sure to post your stats again to get faster help...
