Humalog r vs human insulin

Hello all

I have a question regarding insulin.

From what I have researched HUMALOG R INSULIN works in you body for about 4 hours and peaks at 2 hours.

My question is how fast does HUMAN INSULIN work. So if for example you drank a can of coke how long does it take ur body to bring you sugars back to normal. So I am assuming here if a DIABETIC were to drink a can of coke and the took the relevant dose of HUMALOG R there sugars would be back to normal after 4 hours.

The 2 types of inslun are:
HUMALOG - onset is 15 minutes
Humalin R - onset is 2 hours
