I've been on cycle for a little over 10 weeks now. With accutane, they make you take mandatory monthly blood tests to make sure everything is fine. Last checkup, I was over two weeks into my AAS cycle and passed my CPK test with flying colors but I was flagged for high CPK with this recent test.
They had me come in a week later to retest and my CPK went even higher. They are having me discontinue the accutane for a week and mandated a stop to all exercise so they can check it again (and I'll probably fail) Of course, I'm not too thrilled about this at all because I'm seeing the best gains at this point into my cycle and I am feeling GREAT.
The accutane has worked amazingly. I do not want to stop and risk the acne coming back and I don't want to stop working out ever for an extended amount of time.. on cycle or not.
If they continued putting me on accutane, I would be looking at over 2 months of not working out. Fail.
Anyone have any ideas or insights? Should i just go over my concerns with the dermatologist and tell him that I will NOT stop working out?
