So I've been doing this for years now, and today was "pec" day. I never had a problem before and pecs are actually one of my favorite spots to hit since they're relatively painless and easy to reach. Today, when I was trying to get the needle in, there was so much resistance in my skin, that when the needle finally broke through, I felt the "pop" and it was already half way through on a 1" needle almost instantly. THEN, after gliding smoothly for about 1-2mm, there was more resistance and the same thing happened again with the needle already in the pec. I felt another "pop" and needle slid in all the way in an instant. I like to keep injections symmetrical, so I also injected the other pec and had the same exact experience again.
I've done tons of injections pretty much everywhere and never felt this before. Anyone have any idea what might have happened? The needle was brand new B-D 25g 1". Thanks.
