How to safely inject?

I am new here and need to know how to inject.
I have read that it is not safe to use the same needle you draw the liquid
(steroid ) out of the vial with, to inject with also. Is this true? If so, how do you draw the liquid out, and put it into the syringe you inject with?

Just don't want to get an infection or anything.
