A friend want to know what he took in the 1980s

All he knows is that they were med/small blue pills that he used orally. He said they seemed to work but upset his stomach so bad after a week or two that he had trouble eating and this enter feared with gains.

Any ideas guys, I got a guess but don't want to skew the responses.

Why would you not go to a pill identification website, have your "friend" identify the pill, and get a correct answer? I think that would be infinitely preferable to us here guessing......?

That would be a great thought if I were not trying to ID a 25-30 year old pill, I doubt that there are a lot of images of steroids that old.

That is what I thought and with the information you supplied I was able to find one image of the original Ciba product.
