About to take my 3rd shot tonight of Test E, feeling great.
Hey guys,
I am just about to take my 3rd shot of Test E 250/mg/week, two per week for 12 weeks. Anyway, I am feeling great, my workouts are really easy and I am having to force myself to take about a minute rest between sets. It seems like my recovery time between sets is just seconds. I am wondering if this is all psychological or do you think I am actually seeing some effects from the 500mg I have already taken. Either way I love what I am experiencing right now. I start Anavar next week for 10 weeks at 50mg per day. Cannot wait for that!
I am actually not allowing myself to increase my lifts just yet. I am pretty old (42 years) and I do not want to injure my joints by putting so much pressure on them by increasing my weights so quickly. Last cycle I went from doing 80lbs shoulder presses to 125lbs shoulder presses for 10 to 12 reps, I doubt that will happen this time. But I know myself I am sure I will be increasing my weights big time in the next couple weeks. Any other older guys on here doing cycles and how are you progressing? Do you experience joint problems or any other issues that the younger folks may not?

You seem to be haveing a placebo effect but screw it ride it out just don't go nuts, I'm 40 and 8 weeks in on test cycle last week I put up 80lbs more on my bench than ever before, shoulder presses I'm at 165lbs for 3 sets x 8 and back exercises
Seated cables and lat pull downs are getting off the wall huge
Enjoy the ride brother and be careful us old guys break easy...lol

No this i my fourth cycle. Did test/Deca and 2 cycles of test/tren .
I know how we break, my knees are jacked up, shoulder messed up and back issues but I never let these issues stop my training. I have learned how to work around them and actually make them better but I know I have to be careful fully aware of what can happen if you stress a muscle and joint to much to quickly.

39 and also fell victim to the placebo effect. 1st week after I started I came in pushed some heavy weight around. More than ever before. I think I just had more confidence. Kept looking for that same feeling over the next few weeks... never really felt especially different. Now I am in week 6 and just this last week I felt very strong. I feel like I am starting to grow. Like you I didnt increase weight but more reps was a breeze. I am hoping this is where it starts to get exciting!

Had you frontloaded the 1st wk, you would have felt it by now... I know because it always happens to me..
