    I'm a little confused about pre-cycle BF%.......

I've been thru many many posts regarding BF% relative to first time cycles. I've seen my posters that were 20+% BF (regardless of what they thought no offense). Anyways whats the point of starting a first cycle without BF as low as possible? Aren't you just adding one more complication to your goals? Whats the rush? What are the positive and negative effects if any?

From what I've read, the possibility of gyno can be higher if there are more fat deposits in your chest area. Thus, users with a higher body fat percentage could have an increased risk of this horrible side effect. Also, without proper diet in check, using drugs will only be a temporary solution to the problem. You are more likely to lose what you have gained on cycle. If you don't know how to eat and diet like a bodybuilder, why would you go taking illegal drugs? That's what I've gathered from my research. I've decided to get my diet a little more clean before I indulge in the juicing. Zach Kahn shouldn't be asking us for steroid advice anyway, lol....

Well .. the way that I see it.. is that yes you can lower your bodyfat through diet and cardio BUT.... you will also lose a lot of muscle in the process and it stinks..

IMO I would do a small dose of test p and then diet and cardio with vigor ..this way you will not lose TOO much quality hard earned muscle in the process..

    just my .02 cents...

This is from the opinion of a rookie when it comes to gear. I think it comes down more to a fellers training experience and his intelligence for training. It has been said 1000 times. If your diet is not right, then no matter the gear or anything else, results will not be made or just lost. However if these things are given proper attention then test and a good cycle would provide the perfect environment for muscle gain and fat reduction. Some trainers recommend never cutting while off cycle. Different stokes-different folks, just be smart and reasonable about it.

I wouldn't even think about running aas at 20%+ bf. You're basically asking for gyno. Do some research on gyno and then ask yourself "Do I really want this?" Plus, if you are above 20% you obviously don't know how to eat right. So taking some juice and not eating right would be another failure. You'd probably end up increasing your bf! Not to mention if you had any water retention.. You don't want to look like a big marsh mellow do you?

    Age/stats/lifting experience??

Check out the diet section and put in some quality time reading.. Proper nutrition and some cardio will go along way. A perfect example would be a workout partner of mine. He's was at 27% bf at like 235 3weeks ago. He started eating right and running 2 miles before every workout. He weighed in at 213 yesterday. He lost 23 lbs in 3 weeks. So do some research and save your money..

The is a couple ideas in the theory of body fat :

If you are not dedicated enough to good diet/nutrition , then how disciplined will you be on AAS .
How long does a normal person take to put a pound of weight on under any condition ? Now take AAS and add 10-20 lbs in a month or 2 . Hows the heart gonna like added weight , not to mention blood pressure . Leaner the better as far as water retention .
The best reason for some is gyno . I'm sure you have seen it on overweight people without the addition of steroids if you catch my drift .
How will you look with high BF after you put muscle on and lose some but keep the added fat ?
