Hey, im a new member here and i was looking for a bit of advice, maybe some of you veteran members can help me out. ive been lurking for weeks reading up on pertinent material while i waited for my membership activation. this might be lengthy but i'll try to keep it to the pt.
i started my first cycle about a month and a half ago, and due to medical reasons unrelated, i had to stop the cycle. (i can elaborate later if needed) this little taste of anabolics lit a fire of passion within me.... i know i will continue to cycle as soon as im all healed up.
as soon as i can open my mouth (it is currently wired shut) i will start my new cycle. i am going to try and roughly follow ronnie rowland's blast cycle with the reload/deload regimen. some of his guidelines are far too detailed and particular for me, but i really think he's got some of the best advice in his posts. in particular i like the bits about keeping cycles to 8wks and NOT utilizing the time on=time off, so as to avoid the 'yo-yo effect'. so lets get down to the bare bones...
Stats:
-5'11", 160lbs and losing 2-3lbs weekly (im on all liquid diet)
-22 yrs. old (dont tell me im too young, you wont change my mind)
-5yrs lifting experience
-Kinesiology student/w a fine understanding of how the musculoskeletal system works
-3000+ calorie/day diet (when healthy), i aim for 200g protein/day, even more carbs, and minimal fat, NO sugar and NO processed foods
-supplements include GNC generic whey protein and weight gainer formula
-max's: leg press at 520x2, bench press at 205x2; both when i weighed 150lbs
-very fast to recover, high metabolic rate, resting HR at about 80 BPM
-prone to anxiety but it is well-controlled
-lifting technique is slow and controlled, emphasis on form instead of load weight; special attn paid to eccentric contractile phase (for max hypertrophy)
BLAST CYCLE:
Reload
wk 1-8: 500 mg. test C/wk
each muscle group worked twice a week
Deload
wk 1-2: Arimidex? (all ive got so far, but im open to suggestions)
workout sets cut in half, intensity and load remain the same
Reload
wk 1-8: 750 mg. test C/wk
working each muscle group twice a week again
Deload/PCT
wk 1-4: Nolvadex daily
workout sets cut in half again, intensity constant, load constant (as tolerated)
as you can see this is a fairly rough plan, i wont be starting for another month so i can adjust as much as needed. i REALLY need some help with the PCT, i dont know whether to use AI's or SERM's, but i do have an AI (arimidex) on hand for in-cycle ERSE's. as well i should note that i naturally have a very high metabolism and less than 5% bodyfat so gynecomastia is not likely.
please do not throw out suggestions for PCT's without at least pointing me in the direction of a source!
