    cycle and pct planning, need some critique

    Hey, im a new member here and i was looking for a bit of advice, maybe some of you veteran members can help me out. ive been lurking for weeks reading up on pertinent material while i waited for my membership activation. this might be lengthy but i'll try to keep it to the pt.

    i started my first cycle about a month and a half ago, and due to medical reasons unrelated, i had to stop the cycle. (i can elaborate later if needed) this little taste of anabolics lit a fire of passion within me.... i know i will continue to cycle as soon as im all healed up.

    as soon as i can open my mouth (it is currently wired shut) i will start my new cycle. i am going to try and roughly follow ronnie rowland's blast cycle with the reload/deload regimen. some of his guidelines are far too detailed and particular for me, but i really think he's got some of the best advice in his posts. in particular i like the bits about keeping cycles to 8wks and NOT utilizing the time on=time off, so as to avoid the 'yo-yo effect'. so lets get down to the bare bones...

    Stats:
    -5'11", 160lbs and losing 2-3lbs weekly (im on all liquid diet)
    -22 yrs. old (dont tell me im too young, you wont change my mind)
    -5yrs lifting experience
    -Kinesiology student/w a fine understanding of how the musculoskeletal system works
    -3000+ calorie/day diet (when healthy), i aim for 200g protein/day, even more carbs, and minimal fat, NO sugar and NO processed foods
    -supplements include GNC generic whey protein and weight gainer formula
    -max's: leg press at 520x2, bench press at 205x2; both when i weighed 150lbs
    -very fast to recover, high metabolic rate, resting HR at about 80 BPM
    -prone to anxiety but it is well-controlled
    -lifting technique is slow and controlled, emphasis on form instead of load weight; special attn paid to eccentric contractile phase (for max hypertrophy)


    BLAST CYCLE:
    Reload
    wk 1-8: 500 mg. test C/wk
    each muscle group worked twice a week
    Deload
    wk 1-2: Arimidex? (all ive got so far, but im open to suggestions)
    workout sets cut in half, intensity and load remain the same
    Reload
    wk 1-8: 750 mg. test C/wk
    working each muscle group twice a week again
    Deload/PCT
    wk 1-4: Nolvadex daily
    workout sets cut in half again, intensity constant, load constant (as tolerated)

    as you can see this is a fairly rough plan, i wont be starting for another month so i can adjust as much as needed. i REALLY need some help with the PCT, i dont know whether to use AI's or SERM's, but i do have an AI (arimidex) on hand for in-cycle ERSE's. as well i should note that i naturally have a very high metabolism and less than 5% bodyfat so gynecomastia is not likely.

    you cut your cycle at 6 weeks and didn't run a pct, at 22 you risk full recovery of your hpta. you need to run pct and then get bloodwork done
    what was the cycle?

    Bro, at 160...there is no reason to run anything...work on bringing your weight up natty...i mean train hard and EAT....youre very young..either your metabolism is crazy fast or youre not eating enough ...either way you dont need to take Compounds to remedy that stiuation..

    i cant eat food for the next three and 1/2 wks because my jaw is wired shut... i got jumped and i didnt have anything so they ****ed me up.

    im a college student i cant afford bloodwork... i didnt cut cycle at 6wks, i only had three wkly injections and the day after the third i was jumped, then the day before i was gonna get my 4th i had my jaw wired shut and decided not to waste my gear if i was only drinking for calories.

    also i AM running PCT, i have been taking arimidex daily. it may be inadequate but at least its something.

    everyone who tells me im too young doesnt know what i look like... im full grown and stopped growing a while ago. i can grow a nice beard (currently rocking some sweet mutton chops) and i have plenty of chest hair, and i really dont think age concerns are valid in my case.

    i have been trying VERY hard to bring my weight up natty, but to no avail.

    i used to weigh 115 at 17 yrs, when i started working out. three years later i was 150-155 and its like i just bottomed out. try as i might, in the past two years i havent been able to put on any weight past that. i tried different workout routines, lifting with bodybuilders, cutting all sports and only lifting, and still nothing.

    i have also tried different ways of eating: different foods, increasing food intake (made me sick of eating and hard to workout when you feel like a sandbag is in your stomach), i tried weight gainer supplements, ive tried just not working out and eating mcdonalds, and ive tried dirty bulking while lifting and none of that has worked. (im suprised the dirty bulking didnt work i was getting in at LEAST 4000 cal/day during that time)

    im sure i eat enough, present predicament aside. i eat as much as i possibly can and i average at least 3000 cal/day, 3500-4000 on a very heavy lifting day. im also sure this plateau i have been experiencing for the past two years is due to my 'crazy fast' metabolism; i have pretty much never been above 5% bodyfat since puberty started all those years ago.

    the three wks of my cycle had been 40mg DBol daily and 500 mg. test C weekly... i will admit that this was excessive but i had gained 10 pounds in that three wks and i was truly amazed at how my body responded.... it was as if all my hard work was finally paying off.

    my questions are simple though: is ronnie rowlands 8-wk cycle really most effective? he does seem to have data to back it up, or at least alludes to data...

    also, ive been able to establish that AI's are better in-cycle and SERM's are better for PCT, but what makes one SERM better than the other? it seems like nolva is the most popular and everyone swears up and down it is the best, but why is it the best and how long should i run it? and does anyone have any idea for bridging my two reload phases? is my AI inadequate for these two weeks?

    All i can do is echo what everyone as said, you dont need steroids at your age you will damage yourself and all you need is food, build a foundation first....

    i understand your frustration but keep in mind that 10lb gain was purely water weight from the d-bol, amd just because you have a beard doesn't mean your endocrine system has fully matured. good luck on your recovery and take this time to be all over this board and read and learn. the diet section is very informative and there alot of guys that are in the same position you are and im sure they can help. sorry its not what you want to hear but its all i got
