    Wise to extend cyp cycle to 14wk?

    Hey there..
    Yet another question..

    UPDATE: currently in my 2nd week of my 1st cycle (500mg test c)(12 wk)

    Alrighty im not jumping the gun and im a fairly patient guy when it comes to muscle building. I have put on and honest 2kgs so far (no doubt water retention). Definatley not too noticable and im a little bit weary that i may be in for a long wait before i see proper gains happening. So i have been doin a bit MORE reading about cypionate cycles. Some tittled vetrans have said that results may take up to week 7or 8 but wen they do they are awesome and come on fast!.
    Now if i have to wait till week 7 to see a noticable change then that is totally fine. But! i really dont want the buzz of putting on muscle size to last only 3-4 weeks before i start to see a slight decline during PCT.

    So i am tempted to add in another 4 weeks on top of my cycle (10 weeks extended to 14 weeks) to maximise my gains during the tail end of my cycle as I may not do another one for another 6 months or so...

    what do you guys think? bad choice on my 1st cycle?

    well i suggest take it to week 10. if you are still getting gains. go to 12 weeks.

    The gains start to come on strong after 3 weeks for me, and they dry up by week 8. So I basically get 5 awesome weeks, no matter how long the cycle (unless I add in other compounds as I go). You don't need 14 weeks on your first cycle. Even 10 should be plenty.

    1st cycle- Keep it simple and easy if your plan was 10 weeks stick with it, monitor your progress and make note for your next round

    no worries, understood.
    I will stick to what im doing then. there is 10 weeks of injections but becasue of the cypionate ester the cycle will stretch out for 2 extra week making it a 12 week cycle.
    Ill see how i go.

    That would just count as a 10 week cycle. You don't add the weeks that you're waiting to start PCT.

    u are in 2nd week, u can wait until 8th week to see you are getting gains or not

    I would stick to your original plan. Also remember that people respond differently to test. Most people see their best gains from test e or c from week 5-8. However I saw nearly all of my gains by the time week 6 had rolled around. Mine came on hard and fast, starting around week 2. After week 6 I didn't gain too much despite eating more. In general, after 8 weeks on test, the body has adapted to the test by increasing levels of SHBG, in addition to changes in the cellular responses to hormone receptor activation. This means that gains will not longer occur at the initial high rate unless more compounds are added or dosage is increased. However, for a first cycle you shouldn't be doing any of this. Just stick to 12 weeks. If you train hard and eat alot, you will be more than happy with your gains in that amount of time.

    I guess my main concern was maximizing my gains throughout the cycle.. from what u and others have said it sounds like you basically get 4 weeks of solid gains anytime between week 2 and 10. after that you basicaly go stale and its a matter of nailing you PCT and diet to maintain.
    Sounds good. Can not wait to feel the growth lol
