Has this ever happened to you?

I had a really odd thing happen yesterday. I woke up, ate, and was feeling great. In the afternoon, I went to cook a steak on the BBQ , and started to feel odd... My left arm started to tingle, went numb , and started to move on it's own. At first, I was really confused as I watched it move around with absolutely no control of it. I knew something was wrong, so I walked in the house and told my wife to call 911. The problem was, that, I could hardly talk. My face was sagging, and my first thought was I was having a stroke. EMS came, did a check and everything was fine. I went to the hospital, had blood work done, CAT scan done, EKG done , blood pressure done, and everything came back great. Now, I scared the sh!t out of me. There was no sign of a stroke.... But what was mentioned Is that sometimes a migraine can do that, and also a change in hormones can trigger that migraine. I've been on my cycle of test e for 6 weeks. 500 mg ( mon and thursday .. 250 per day. ). I have been taking nolva for 3 days now ( 10 mg ) because of signs of gyno. I am wondering if the hormone change could have been the problem. I have more tests at the doctors this week, but am a little freaked out about my pin tomorrow. Otherwise, I feel great. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen. The hospital says there is no signs of a stroke( all the tests ) , but what happened sure makes me believe it could have been. Does anyone think the test e could have done this? Im 40, 186 lbs, low bf count and thought I was in good shape!! Thanks guys.

Most of the things i found online linking Migranes to hormones are due to low testosterone/estrogen levels. Since nolva doesn't lower estrogen levels but only blocks the absorbtion by the estrogen receptor, I dont' think thats your problem. Have you had bloodwork done? Thyroid hormone levels have also been linked to migrane headaches

I have more tests being done hopefully tomorrow. I am going to ask for hormone levels to be checked. This one will be done with my family doctor. I have trust issues with ER docs... I know about the patient/doctor confidentiality, but not taking any chances. The ER doc and EMS all asked about migraine history. I have suffered from severe migraines since I was 12, but they are not as frequent as when I was younger. I am hoping it is a hormone issue, as you can understand, as opposed to a stroke. That would really suck!!

Asking for your hormone levels to be checked while on cycle is not a great idea, 6 weeks into a test cycle your doc's going to know something is up. If you're that worried about it i'd cut the cycle short and do a proper PCT then wait 4 weeks then get your levels checked. At 40 you might be eligible for TRT

I'm ok with my doc knowing. If I want to find out what happened, I have to be straight with him. Just on the off chance it was a stroke, he needs to know everything. As for the trt, good call. I'll mention it to him.

I'm just wondering if I should do my Monday injection? I really don't think it was the test e. I'm guessing if you have never heard of it before, there is a good chance , from your experience, it had nothing to do with my cycle. I will still get my doc to do more blood work. Thanks guys.

Also be aware that strokes have been misdiagnosed. My mother had 2 misdiagnosed strokes and is now permanently bed ridden because it was never treated. Damn doctors were trying to say it was MS or some other condition to be one of the few to diagnose a particular condition.

Im not trying to scare you, just be aware of all the symptoms. If it happens again chew some aspirin and call 911 again. It could have been anxiety, or a mild stroke. You never know. Take care man i hope you figure it out.

I am not done with it yet. I asked for more tests this week and am taking aspirin everyday now. I always like to get as many opinions as possible. Still a little freaked out. Can't wait to get this sorted out. Sorry to hear about your mom. Damn doctors need to be more accountable for their actions.

any updates on this Milf? I've been reading allot about nitric oxide, may not be a bad idea to have your doctor prescribe them to you, you can also use supplements, just in case! do you drink enough water everyday? make sure you do. i hope your test come back all negative.

Thanks for the info. I received test results last week. All my blood counts were good, EKG was good, and the only problem they found was my cholesterol was high. My hdl was good but my LDL was a little high. The doc started me on a low dose med for the LDL. They still believe it was a Tia ( mini stroke ), but thank god there was no damage. My diet has been altered, eating very clean, but it's a huge lifestyle change. That's ok, it beats the alternative!! Prior to my cycle, my cholesterol levels were fine, so the blame was put on the test e. I still do not believe it was the main cause. I know it can play a role, but I am sure my diet was to blame. Besides that , everything is going great. Still going strong!!

I was also wondering if the supplement I was taking was part of the cause. I'm not sure if I can mention it, but it starts with " no Xp". I'm not sure if it could have had a part in it, but I stopped taking it just incase. Besides that, my gains on test e have been incredible. I love the feeling and can see how it can be addictive!! I am waiting for my clean bill of health before I think about a second cycle.
